In my opinion one of the _very best_ demos of the mid-90's.
the best "classic" coma demo I think. the finnish version has a stronger feeling than the rather clunky english translation...

for once I agree with Uncle-X about something. this _is_ one of the very best demos I've seen.

I loved paimen for years now
paimen is love.
This demo makes me always thoughful. There are words and then again there are words. What you believe doesn't matter if it's all just aiming for a better life. The message is same time a bit naive but still very powerful.
And as Saffron mentioned, you really have to see Finnish version, English one sucks big time. Perhaps it'd be time for a final final version?

Ok, I already found the fixed version incl. the translated lyrics (thanx to good ol' hornet) and I agree that the english version sucks. :)

I got the English version from some old CDs of a friend with lotsa demos. The same version is featured also in the DemoDVD btw..

As people don't read nfo files I might as well give you instructions to switch between languages on fixed version.<br>Use parameters /F (for finnish) and /E (for english).<br>I do agree that english version sucks, but it is always hard to translate lyrical text.
Uups. No caps. Parameters are /f and /e. "Fixed" version really fixes couple of minor bugs not only the language. But as you now know, both languages are there.

Hadn't commented this yet, so: Excellent demo with a very good soundtrack and "scene poetry" that's actually interesting and the usage of video is interwoven beautifully into graphical effects.
This was the first demo that showed me that the demo medium is usable for artistic self-expression. Also my favorite Coma demo.

Absolute top class production. Probably one of the first real examples of artistic expression in the context of demoscene. Features clever use of effects, fantastic color palette, and a great track.

This one has some kickass visuals. My only gripe is the volume is a bit loud on the song, kind of over-normalized. But, fuck it; Coma rules.

The English translation is more or less accurate, as it is a pretty direct translation. However, it due to that also doesn't feel as profound or artistically fulfilled as the the original, since the original word choices carry additional associations and feel more coherent with the biblical quotes. You get what is said in the English version, but you don't get how it's said.
