I'm sorry, but spending weeks to release a version that still crashes on my ati9000 (no shadows) is just..not good enough :D The demo is probably good, hope there's a divx coming.

fuckin' awesome demo :)

Nice thunky robotage renders; nothing new but very very clean on the bigscreen. Thunked all comers at the title as well.
nice graphics and lighting, irritating postprocesses.
the graphics were good enough not to hide them behind a 10 layer mess of glow, noise and blur. also the odd slowdowns (gf4ti4600, p4 2.8). the best parts were where it was cleaner. glowstick was cleaner than this, and better looking for it imo.

still, nice 3d, consistent style and decent enough engine.

maybe it is not the best, but there is a design... and it works ok. piece of good work.

nice! what smash said!

way cool...
that layer of noise sucked imo, though

Great demo, noise=cancer

Here it is, the 3rd p.p.p. "Portal Process Production":) And once again : good work from Sam and all the crew. Agree with Ninja : maybe not the best, personally I prefer "Glowsick" especially for its astonishing tune, but worth a thumb. I will await the next one with as much impatience. Love robot.

damn, that is a really great prod, so amazeing 3D modelling and sound is also cool, great job.
Before i forget on my Geforce3 it runs very smooth.

*BIG THUMBS UP*

yes man.... although i usually like noise, these layers were ugly.

Cool music and visuals!
rulez added on the 2004-09-28 17:16:05 by Optimus Optimus
Quite nice, but you should consider adding a checkbox for removing the noise to the launcher.
rulez added on the 2004-09-28 18:00:19 by asasel asasel
I think with that noise effect it looks more realistic, but a select box for removing it would be great ;-)

love it, although short and i wish I saw more of those legs. how does the saying goes? female legs are like paris tower...

hehehe. RULES!

ran the first scene and then crashed with "arb_shadow" not supported. Anyway, i saw this in the compo. Kickass demo with a king's tune
rulez added on the 2004-09-28 20:42:41 by Duckers Duckers
Great engine and shadows, and some nice modelling also, but the music is kinda weak compared to what the visuals and the (over)sync would need.
rulez added on the 2004-09-28 20:56:44 by zoom zoom
What? Ran like a charm on my Radeon 9600 with shaodows enabled.
A real killer demo with a bloody awsome track by gloom!!

Great shadows!

yeah, very cute! loved the soundtrack as well
rulez added on the 2004-09-28 21:23:03 by NuKem NuKem
apart from being terribly mis-synced, slow and ubergrainy, this pretty much rocks :D
the tune wasn't that good but the last 1 minute got ace when the scratches came in :)
(for some reason two tracks came to mind: Zixaq - Fake Electronic Lightshow and Fear Factory - Edgecrusher)

Looks good, though it's nothing we haven't seen before already. The glowing lines were nice.. next time little less noise and little more overall point, please? :)
rulez added on the 2004-09-28 22:50:42 by Preacher Preacher
great music, some nice visuals... a bit boring... and FIX the shadows (by making it working, and higher res)
rulez added on the 2004-09-28 23:58:14 by spengler spengler
woooh, cool, but I would like to see more than just legs of that thing =D

anyway, great demo. ran fine here, perfectly smooth (gf6800gt). but please add 1280x1024 to the list of supported resolutions.
rulez added on the 2004-09-29 01:13:21 by fox fox
a good industrial demo with lots of neat stuff. splines with light, robotlegs, tunnelscene with a weird object, mechanical scenes, wobbling object, legs, industrial and the spline-ball is kind of cute. nice track by gloom, but ive heard better from him.
rulez added on the 2004-09-29 02:22:06 by oldaccount oldaccount
Nice demo, sadly ruined a bit by OpenGL for us ATi owners.
At least it works, unlike certain other demos *cough*Kolor*cough*. Will get a thumb if it works well ;)

It looks rather cheap without shadows.

Completely in it's own league!
Great music and visuals, that punches you right in the face! It even runs quite well on my ancient PC as well.

BTW, the noise is sweet! ;) BB Image

shadows do the job

It ran quite well here *with* shadows on my Radeon9500. Anyway, it was okay.

Wtf, you lie to me :) Ati 9600 Sapphire and shadows were fine and ran smoothly... or I'm just blind. Nevertheless nice watch.. too much noise, maybe... dunno
rulez added on the 2004-10-01 08:36:24 by Vulture Vulture
music gets a little out of hand, otherwise neat.

The robot legs were pretty menacing when seen up-close, but when the camera was pulled further back they just seemed like an unconvincing toy. Should've paid more attention to framing, methinks. (Closer and looking upwards, perhaps?)

Other than that, visuals had a nice-ish look to them, but music was typical typical typical.
the whiteflashes started getting annoying, but its still pretty decent demo.
rulez added on the 2004-12-02 02:05:19 by psenough psenough
only the final scene effect ran abit slower with shadows enabled on ati btw.. (x800 pro)

yet another dope track by gloom.
same goes for the entire prod.
everything rocks big time except the too high amount of flashes.
