Ok, so now this prod is regged twice on pouet :)

A Windoze port of a DOS demo. Hmm... I don't know why someone bothered. Perhaps it helps to be high on acid or something.

Bothered? it took <1 hour to port it, and I Wanted to be able to watch it again

Some of us have crummy machines. Some of us have good machines, and for some strange reason still like to watch demos on the crummy machines that serve as the household web server, and live in the kitchen.

i've got a soundblaster live. it's quite a good card for music stuff, but it doesn't have any hard sb emulation - so windows ports of dos demos get me horny.

Here, here, dos ports are a good idea, especially since not many ppl have their machines setup to run dos demos (or want to go through the bother).
Especially for GUS only intros (grr).
But anyways, as to the demo, it was ok..

I'm not against DOS ports of classic demos, and never made any claims to the contrary. But this production put me and a friend to sleep.

But why compete with a port of something you did ? What are you guys, TBL?

Wow, for once a Cryonics prod that I liked. Nothing else to say, really. Ubbe has nice balls!

shifter: I asked the compo-crew if they wanted me to hand it in, because it WAS an unreleased version of the demo, and they wanted me to do that, so that they would get more demos in the compo. That's why I competed with it, it's not like I was aiming at placing high in the compo. DH was great fun though :)
