umm, I'm not impressed...

I kinda like seeing old-skool stuff done on new-skool technology, just so long as it's not done *too* often. Once is a while is fine, and this demo was nice to watch for a temporary change of pace.

If you guys are supposed to "be the best" you sure as hell need to come up with something better.

This is the split-personality demo... Has a totaly oldskool music, playing at SB ver.1 quality and kicks off with a series of really oldskool effects, things that an Amiga 500 could do easily. Then you have some more 'impressive' effects which are some years 'younger' than the first ones... The whole design is like "PCs have demos too (1992)"

Watch this only for 'educational' purposes (see above) :-)

it's not a good oldschool styled demo.. i mean if you want to go on the oldschool trip, then watch again some old scroller demos and learn from them... your scrolly's sine function is neurasthenic, it's rather slow, it's missing clever screen transitions (vectors turning into 2d, original decompositions) ... it's not shiny or whatever.

come on guys! if you had at least a little respect for you group's historical name, you would have done that with pure software rendering!

if you want to see what the "real" Razor 1911 can do, check out "Voyage" on Amiga or "Red" on the PC.

No, the A500 couldn't do that many faces on a glenz, and it couldn't do that fast or smooth a zoomrotator, not without faking, which hey, is fair (:

But yes, this is a GOOD production, looks far better than the zillionth Jizz/TBL copy we've all seen in the past few years - true, I don't think I want to see a whole bunch of copies of this either.

However there were things that were a bit different here - the going INSIDE the torus and covering up the scroller at the bottom... overall, a cool production.

(Yes I watched this after reading how folks didn't like it much, sometimes thats the way to find the cool stuff.)

The zoomrotator is too fast for me... Do you want me to vomit ?

Doesn't work for me in Win XP... Music plays, screenmode changes, then all I see is a black screen. Doesn't react on esc or anything either.
