Fantastic routine, albeit a bit repetetive after a while. Nonetheless, the music and the design are superb - completely entrancing and, above all, completely original.

I don't understand why this won't work. I't starts but ends within a 1/10 of a second. I tried it in school with a crappy old gfx card and no speakers so atleast I've seen it but I would like it to work at home aswell.

Ok, Now I've heard Sumo Lounge's soundtrack and that was really something! Blended straight in with the flowers! Even my girlfriend liked it and she usually don't understand what's that nice with demos!

The only PC demo at BP that made my day (except from the Metalvotze demo :). Beauty and design with one simple algorithm!

The effect possibly is not all original, but I can tell from the comments that it was original in this context. I once saw a showreel from some brasilian company (IIRC), where I got the idea for the growing flower. That flower/whatever on the reel was more pop-design like (as last koneisto).. I was thinking more about the japanese wood/paper cut illustrations as inspirator for this one. You could put one of those birds on that flower :) The effect was supposed to be part of my origami-safari themed VJ set, which in the end turned to be yet another robot-show :)

i usually like moppi demos, this one included. The music rocks, the flowers effects is so beautiful, too bad it's only a invitation productions. But, anyway, it deserves his thumb up ! ;)

sometimes one effect is all it takes if you make it really well. moppi's assembly invitation is a perfect example of that. i get almost hypnotized when watching this thing, just looking at the growth of the plants and wondering where it'll go this time. soothing music fullfills the "trippy" experience. thank you, memon & sumo!

This somewhat marked a trend towards those growing flowers/tubes effects.
I a have some affection for artificial plant growth for a long time - but this is one of my favourites – it’s absolutely great! – I really love how smoothly it degrades from the (non – sucking) naturals shapes to the blue lines of a digital world at the end. Nevertheless I still have mixed feelings about invitations for parties winning other parties.
