dont you love university assignments? i had to do a similar one in java3d and vrml. it was _so_ usefull and work inspiring.
oh yeah, this is on par with "far cry", no question about it..

it's maybe ok for some standard boring school prod. but i'ts quite clumsy, unoriginal, spiritless and no fun at all :(
I´ve seen other school prods, beeing funnier and of higher quality... especially texture usage improvements or adding music should have been considered here...

I agree with Supersuperplek, but I wouldn't be quite as harsh in phrasing it.
i hope it will be enough for ur dumb teachers.... cause it sux a lot!!!

This one's definitely a coup de cour for me. I liked it.
Ok for a school-prod because you've learned something, but as a scene-prod it's of poor quality:
- boring fly-by (this time for real; evrytime when the screen turned black I was waiting for an end - but NO)
- THX-music - how lame is that please?
- I could see the sea ground not moving when everything else moved
- texture quality :(
- filesize... you should've cleaned it before, when delivering the source make an extra directory, delete useless stuff like stdout.txt
- ...
