there are some nice effects in it and the music is ok, too. but it's not my style somehow, but you'd better watch it yourself :)

its an interesting demo, nothing kinda amazing, but its okay.. some nice fx, but the name of the demo makes you to expect more. where's the dust?

a couple of interesting effects, but watching, like, a dozen of slightly different morphing blobs one after another, is not really my idea of fun. the starting scene is pretty original tho.

Another kick ass amiga mega production !

I remember having watched this production back in 97 over and over again! I specifically remember that I loved the style big time back then. Haven't seen it in ages, but this was definately much "cooler" than the competing TBL demo!! Double thumbs up for this one ...

very very cool demo - on par with the best artwork demos of the pack.

it's a demo with nice music and textures, but maybe the time don't respect it too much.

I remember the times of artwork (1x1 effects) vs tbl (2x2 effects) :D

may be good coding on amiga, but the blob-in-front-of-panning-background effect gets boring after a while. music is a bit unpolished too. the intro concept was cool.

When most Amiga demos were made up of chunky pixels, Artwork's effects were so sharp and slick, and ran at a decent pace. Fiver's textures were always incredible too!

What I disliked about Artwork prods is the lack of direction and transitions. They consisted of one effect jumping into another, like a script with a soundtrack playing over the top.

Still, it gets my vote for being so advanced! Looks better than many modern PC demos in my opinion.

Ooh i hadn't rated this yet? very enjoyable demo indeed :) Great effects and code too...as if there was any doubt with Azure behind them.

Great great code! I also really like the intro and the planets too.

one of my favourites. love the intro scene and some parts of that song are ace.

Everything based on outstandin exclusive Azure's envmaping routines (also with great looking bumps) Solid job that's it.

the artwork-colorscheme just rocks ! ( its like the 16 colors of c64 appeal to me like the best-chosen-colors ever ! )
superb demo-style, kick-ass-muzak !
( gotta keep commenting to gain another CDC i guess ! )

Artwork was one of the best Amiga team at this period... Could seem classical or boring now, but still some nice ideas.

Not the best samples in the music nor overall best produced, but still carries some character. Also for once the visual parts are actually somewhat synchronized—and well even—to it. Envmapped blobs with nice colors is an easy way to win me over.

yep
One of those demos I want to like but can't really. Great code and graphics, decent music, just parts are a bit meh.

This is one of the best hidden gems ever made, more of a effect show maybe, but still very well made code, gfx and musics!

That planet scene with perfectly round texturemapped planets with shadows is a real gem! Looks much better than the coarse polygonized planets we get most of the time
rulez added on the 2020-08-13 18:47:24 by rloaderro rloaderro
Nice demo with great textures and some neat effects but it is clearly visible that it was made by two different people. There was no idea how to put it together. 3D scene is amazing, universe with shadows and rotating planets is superb but in overall there are two many morphing blobs (however they are still good).

What mailman said, but I like the morphing blobs a lot.
