a big surprise from this year's amiga compo, a very stylish demo from the uproughers, who showed us some stylee without tbl code-powa too. respekt!

sometimes it was a little hard to see what the video illustrated, but the vector representation still rules! i also heard that it's all blitter, which makes me warm inside =)
This was underrated BIGTIME. I'd value this higher than TBL's entry.

So so cool, just look at the diversity of the amiga demo compo, this hip hop street style on one end and TBL 3D monster on the other, with demos from the whole spectrum in between. The compo was amazing and this demo was one of the highlights.

Doesn't run om my Amiga :( Can't find the bloody AHI.device. What am i doing wrong here? I have AHI installed (4.16) and i have started it, even manually in the prefs??
havent checked the other demos yet, but i think this should have won anyway=) and the music rocks sooo much
Aha, problem solved by installing the latest Ahi version 5.5 :) Fantastic demo, great idea/concept/execution. Could have done with a bit more variety maybe...

@phoenix: works on Winuae 8.25. Install Ahi 5.5 and everything should be ok :)
fresh! uprough knows their style. one of the pearls of the whole compo. didn't work on my 060 though, i'm too stupid to config my ahi device (please help :).

Wooh! The thing is, DO NOT USE ANY AHI VERSION ABOVE v4! AHI v5 and up are really not meant for 68k Amigas. To get the demo working use AHI v4.
Dont start it from an icon. And if you run it without startup-sequence, be sure to run Setpatch before you start the demo, and make sure AHI is initialised. (ENV: assign and so on...)

Uhm... well, I guess if you use UAE, then AHI5 is OK. =)
Spot: I was using AHI 5, with the AHI 4 paula drivers, on my 060 A1200 and it ran without problem or slowdown.

Packed full of style, this has got to be one of the best demos I've seen in a while. Mostly video, but still maintains a refreshing realtime look. And it makes me ashamed of releasing Chrysler... ;)
That's the kind of -rare- prods that bring back my faith in the demoscene... Original, extremely stylish and lovingly polished. Possibly my fave demo of the year...

It was a really good compo and this was one of my favorite one.
I approve of the different style and originality, but I will definitely not watch this one ever again if I can avoid it. I almost fell asleep
just have to add: i really love it, been watching it all morning. music KICKS ASS, like the visuals. totaly rocks! this one gets the "ebbe approval", a real honor.

Not too sure how i feel about this one. Nice vectorising stuff, the video was pretty nice, the music ruled. But it left me wanting more... maybe more effects? Anyway, lacking or not it stull rules.
