Yeah, it's another one of those political demos. The best aspect is the soundtrack, Varanen by Lizardking (scenemusic link) . Possibly his most powerful melody by a guy notorious for making powerful melodies.

This is more like _the_ political demo, starting a trend in naming productions as anti-fascism (although many of them had really nothing to do with the cause).. And for once Lizardking's sucking isn't of extraordinary magnitude.

Okay, so his songs sound like variations of Neverending Story performed by ELO tracked by Mantronix & Tip. I remember the anti-fascism demos, and a few of pro-fascism demos popping up to grab attention.

Great soundtrack and message...

It's very sad to get older and watch how the people turn. A lot of young people in europe and in the demoscene are stupidly turning more and more racists and fascists. Some openly say it, some other people just find it fun and mock democracy, and a very few are intelligent enough to use what is a marvellous way of spreading artwork to call to resistance and claim their tolerance values.

While some would probably think that the message about the immigration seems excessively optimistic here, the idealism of the group is adorable. The design works well to give a sufficiently dramatic representation about the topic. I had mostly forgotten that there were some serious clashes in the early 1990s.

I like this demo. It has passion in the polemic. I like that it addresses the world in 1992 (or today?), and a direct ask of the audience or 'purpose' (to motivate the fight against facsism).

1992 really marked a peak of right wing violence in germany.

I was surprised to see Hanau already mentioned back then.

While I'm not sure if demos are the right medium for political discussions, I really feel how you couldn't be quiet about it in those times.

Hope we're not going back to those times with the current AfD lookalike contest in german politics.

(The music in my opinion really doesn't fit by the way)
