among heaven7, blind and sink one of the greatest 64kb intros on a world. hellcore and omnicolour did unite their forces to make something really huge. What backslide has over the other introz is astonishing atmosphere that swallow you from the very begining to the last second of watching it, and also something like an "embryo of a story". also music perfectly suits to the intro and everything fit together and make a solid whole.<br>
p.s. does anyone matter that it is all grayscaled? ;-)

I dig replay, at times, but the "poetry" they have in their demos is really quite dull (perhaps it loses a little in the translation?) - bakkslide is pure art. pure fucking art. not the most technically impressive intro ever... but the first time i watched this, it almost made me cry. admittedly i was on a comedown, but still, this is emotive stuff, and that tune rocks. its proper. i would dance to that shit if it came on in a club.
and it runs on just about any pentium system. it was this demo that made me take notice of the pc demoscene - previously, it bored me.

I didn`t like Hellcore`s stuff. Didn`t think Mrock was any good coder. But suddenly the quality rises many levels with this intro. And after this Mrock rocks :)

Sends chills down my spine, this one. That's something not a lot of demoscene productions (even the coolest ones) manage to do.
Some interesting stuff, but I expected better because of all the praise.
I had just split up with my girlfriend too... It was 7am, I'd just been to a club, and come home alone, to my half-decorated flat, with no furniture. My PC at the time, was an AMD 166, with no case (the graphics card had to be earthed to the copper piping under the floorboards before it could even boot up (if ever you ever tear out hair trying to boot a pc without a case, this may well be the problem)), and I was forced to sit cross legged and stoop over the monitor, which was propped up on the floor by a few books...
There I was, coming down hard, feeling well lonely, and sorry for myself. I had an idea what might cheer me up, "I wonder what's going on in the demoscene nowadays?" I found scene.org, and this was the first thing i got to run successfully. Damn. Cheer me up it did not, but from that day onward this has a special place in my heart. Breathtaking.
Now - can someone make us a win32 conversion, please? It would certainly be doing the scene a real service. :¬)

Damn rulez. Best 64k I saw ever. And there was moment in my life where the poem kinda fit my feelings perfectly... Btw. about win32 conversion - is it needed anyway? Maybe for the win2k/winxp users, but... It works perfectly with SBLive!, for example (Useless does the work!).

One of the best prods ever... great music, some sweet effects, and an overall great atmosphere keeping it all together perfectly. Thank fuck for win32 ports or i couldn't watch it anymore :)

I thumbed the w32 version but not he original? blasphemy! one of my all time favourite productions ever! Being at Takeover to see it live was incredible.
