this demo have a great gfx work, splif is a great gfxman.. have very beautiful muzak too... is a 3d demo with great ideas.. and great style! thanks for da greet Orion!

This demo I think will become a classic
with time. It needs to grow on you.
Actually the story seems to be centered
to be a dream. (hence a few strange
stuff like this teddy bear in the spaceship
part) I think the dreamy atmosphere is quite
well done, and the soundtrack is very nice and
really adds to the mood. Not an effect demo, but
I think a nice story demo finally...

If you ever need a demo to show to your non-scene friends, or your dad, or girlfriend, make it this one.. I agree that it grows on you, I disliked it the first I saw it, but then I felt the urge to watch it again and again.. this is truly epic stuff.
the graphics and music are really good, but one word: kitsch. also it somehow seems to lack design, i really can't see any continuity of the scenes.

a long and amazing demo that needs to be watched in a dark room and with headphones, so that you then can be totally immerged into it ...

Am I the only one having the general protection fault about halfway through it? I can tun other demos, just not this one.

Purple is a really great demo, with many great scenes, and also a great soundtrack. It is, however, quite long, and you need a "patient" state of mind... :)

Orion should tell us which of their member is a Starcraft fan. Crystals? Alien ships resembling Protoss carriers? It can't be a coincidence! :-) The demo is long, most of the graphics are good. The music themes are also good, but very different from each-other. They did not fit together imho. Some 3D scenes also seem to choke the AGP bus on my GF2MX with textures. I watched the final version btw. Overall, an 'ok' prod. Not bad, not exceptional either.
(a Protoss Archon would make a nice addition though... :P)

This was about the most boring piece of 3d-flyby you can fit in a huge 17 MB package. Maybe it's just me but I didn't see any effects, not to mention synchronization.. (ok maybe there was a sine-wobble somewhere)

nice gfx and sound ... and there is a story and some sort of design behind it.
I have a serious bone to pick with this demo. There's a valiant attempt at some sort of 'deep' storyline. But it's so so so flakey and pointless. It doesn't even make too much sense!
There's a serious air of prentension surrounding this production, but all it manages to do is fall flat on it's face. Too bad, because other Orion demos are quite decent.

3d-flybyes aren't my cup of tea either, but the gfx-quality of this demo is downright fantastic.

A very stylish demo, sadly the 2D gfx are a bit too low resolution ones for this prod. The music fits the atmosphere well. Candy.

wow... what a demo! I like the music very much.. I love it! I'm doing the music for a new 3d demo and I heard the tune of this demos quite often just to listen how it is done..

a slight kitsch tendency (story is way too b&w), but music rules (the rock part in the trailer doesn't really fit in, but sounds great nonetheless). and everything's just really really nice to look at.

this reminded me more of a gameintro than a demo, slowgoing and the music could be better and there should be more diversity!

Perfect definition of the word "BORING" ! Ok. There are good scenes with nice gfx and enjoyable music but i falling into sleep while reaching the end ... :(
