Thanks so much for all the positive feedback. Yeah, I think next time I'll work with an actual musician rather than googling 'chord progressions' the day before the party! Massive thanks to @pestis for his Lovebyte seminar Music in Tiny Intros which really helped me out, but I think I'd better save that approach for the <=1k prods when Cinter exists :-)
