Very nice intro and especially i liked the music. It's a game by ReadySoft, so does it use the same hard-to-crack protection scheme like they did on Dragon's Lair?

Protection is completely different to Dragon's Lair (no encryption) but still quite good. $1900 bytes long tracks, lots of checksums, (almost) no memory for (crack) patches and other things.

One seriously good looking organic effect.
Sexy line effect and that coding diary was a nice read. Is software-archeology or software-paleontology a profession? Requires an eye for detail and endless patience to dig around in disassembled code to fix old bugs.
Just watched a longplay of this game. Looks like a prequel to Shadow of the Beast judging by the engine effects. Awesome parallax scrolling scenes, nice cutscreens, pretty good music, yet horrible gameplay.

The gameplay isn't that bad in my opinion, just very unbalanced. The castle levels for example are very monotonous and boring to play while others (the horse riding for example) are challenging but fun.
