I definitely like the visuals but I think the synth's showcase deserved a better tune.

Incredible rendering, style and design, not just technically amazing. Best 4kb of the year so far. Absolutely amazing.

a fitting/good soundtrack would have added so much more to it since it really looks amazing! but it does not ruin the whole experience thank god :D so still thumbs ups.

Crashes after precalc on Radeon RX570 :(
Wow, there is so much things in this 4096 bytes executable.
- Complex scene without distance field
- GPU Synth
- Perfect lighting and DOF

Thumbs up !

PS: The sound doesn't works on my computer with the 1080p version. The 720p is fine.

Very nice rendering. The modelling and movements seem somewhat messy. Also not convinced by the music.

I'm scared by the new standard of 4k intros 😨

That´s some damn fine visuals. Great impression of depth. And the glow looks brilliant. Music sounds sharp at some points. At least for my western european ear. :) But all in all it fits well as a soundscape.

i like where this is going

Smooth rendering! The rendering is so good in these 4k intros now that I think most of you can just take a rest in that department for a year or two and go to work on creating some generated music that rocks the mic like a vandal and waxes the chump like a candle instead.

Great achievement! Amazing visuals and good color/light direction. The synth appears to be capable, I'd probably have gone for a more atmospheric "sound design" approach with this one, due to the alien and scifi environments coupled with slow movement. Regardless of that, great one!

Didn't work at all for me. The direction is all over the place, and from the first second, the music screams "4k".
added on the 2020-05-26 19:02:03 by Zavie Zavie
hmm, mixed feelings for me.
the visuals are nice, but that "music" didnt really work to create a matching soundscape.

Thumbs up for the inventive CSG geometry, looks very nice with the lighting and maintains a relatively admirable performance!

There's not much else about this though. The synth is promising but quite half-baked at this stage, frankly. I was surprised you went ahead with is already. Lack of a strong musical foundation makes it difficult to ground any meaning into the sequence of abstract shots, which is the achilles' hell here. Everything looks pretty, but does it mean anything beyond that?

Superb rendering quality with nice animations and lighting. Also atmospheric music although a bit strange tune there towards the end :D.

I'm not sure why so many people seem disappointed by the music. I liked it and thought that it fit nicely with the visuals. Compared to Sync Cord, this felt like it had direction. I was interested in the progression of the thing in the middle (Ashlar?) and the "windows" around it, and felt that it was mysterious (which the music fits). In Sync Cord, the music felt generic and the visuals seemed like nonsense, and yet there aren't many people complaining in its comments section.

Very well done; I hope to see more demos like this.
