The closer you get to perfection, the more the little things start bugging: the protagonist doesn't leave ski tracks, some of the movement along the paths feels jaggy and so on. That said, what an amazing trip :)

forgot to add that this is one of the few 8k's I've seen so far that's really starting to define what that genre is all about, rather than just feeling like "a 4k with some more stuff" :)

Awesome, entertaining, great shading, convincing models and environment. The tracks are a super nice touch also. Possibly the best 8k so far. It actually feels more like a 64k.

Can't really get too exited by the concept due to the rough edges, but fairly inventive and original anyway. The ski track looks really good. Respectable amount of concept but I think 8k can still do much more.
Also fair enough if you were very strictly biasing the 8kb towards the visual side, but Oidos definitely can do better 8)

I've updated the download with a bunch of improvements/fixes, mostly to the final part, but also general rendering and movement. Waiting a bit to call it final (and render a new video) though.
There is now also a quite elaborate readme file, and a shadertoy of the raymarching optimization.
Will look into do a "vr" stereo 360 video version (since I already got all the basics from bubble trouble), but not sure how it will be (will obviously turn off rotations and most post)
preacher: not sure about lack of leaving tracks, since you never look back unless either flying or being on hard ice..
I also guess snow dust before the skis would be a bit strange (could maybe look cool anyway of course).

There are definitely places that can take some improvement (music, some movements), but the idea is original and funny, the execution is great, and i dig the ski tracks very much! One of the top prods of Revision for me and a clear winner.

One of my favourites from the entire party. So enjoyable and engaging!
Final version up on the download link and youtube. Got a bit more stuff in (ended up skipping the torus tunnel though - hard to fit in anywhere in the current flow.. and space!), more camera adjustments (can go on forever with that, every time you see something new that needs to be fixed..) and more resolutions.
