Wow! thank you! this is a very nice way to see (thanks to youtube) rasters & splitrasters in action on your platform. I like also the work on gfx (nice way again to see what character mode can do (with rasters)). Just a question, reading the nfo: sync is done for Pentagon128 only? which means: (split-)rasters timings are fucked up on other ZX (Sinclair one's, etc)?

A stunning demo that will serve as a reference point for many future demos messing with "rasters" (no-one calls them that on Spectrum :) ). My personal highlights are rotating circles scene and amazing soundtrack. The demo shows massive amounts of dedication and love and it is always great to see. Shame that a lot of it cannot possibly done on classic Spectrums (e.g. the rotating circles), but then again it is so nice it had to be done no matter what.

Optimus, you're right - this is gigascreen. And note that the main idea of this demo is fullscreen scenes, with border activity.
I didn't know about gigascreen but I read on the wiki, it makes sense now. Still cool demo.

I really dislike the fake emulator-blended videos that are posted for many of these "gigascreen" demos. To me it seems like unbelievers video is closer to what you see on real hw than the original youtube.

Massive pack of very good border fx with pleasant and bright soundtrack. A lot of parts looks really cool at the big screen. And yeah, unfortunately it is only a Pentagon demo, and some fx can't be done on a classic hardware. But still it was a cool show.

Deserved one or more thumbs up for this great gigascreen pentagon demo - pretty good design, sync and flow, nice gfx and cool nq's music. Rage kickasser with such mindblowing border-paper rules broken!
Just one note: You better watch your grandiloquent statements in YT video description that states of usage standard speccy features but it's time to pentagon only that you haven't time to fix for speccy...?
so, definitelly not, because this demo is for slightly different computer which allows all what we can't do on our old good speccy 128k - you haven't slower access to some places of RAM and all those contention issues, you can change border color anytime off the 8ths, and put your interrupt vector anywhere. ;))

took me so long to make a comment due to deep thought about zx demoscene on the whole.
now i can say with certainty that it's quite a deserved winner. great breakthrough effects, good pace with a nice soundtrack, as been said. it lacks microsync and a bit tightened in a few spots but overall effect smoothes everything.

I'm impressed again. I like gigascreen and border effects. This one is maybe the best border(less) demo, yet we must all agree that pentagon can create more detailed border effects than the original. So this demo cannot be fully 'fixed' for zx spectrum without making some sacrifices.
I know pentagon is a legit clone with many users, but sadly for us, who only have original spectrums, this demo is just another emulator food.
I'm one of the fans of DeMarche, and I appreciated the past efforts of tap based original 128k releases, yet this one is a miss. Please consider that there are sinclair only sceners without pentagons.
Anyway, original or not, it's a great demo and border twister looks great. I salute TmK. and send my congrats and thanks to zeebr and n1k-o.

Runs nicely on my intfixed + expanded Pentagon48 :)
Only issue as usual, the gigascreen stuff looks nice on old CRTs/emulators but becomes a flickery mess with high quality CRTs (Sony PVM ftw!) or LCDs.
