I don't know why I liked this, but it made me want to do something similar. Perhaps it's the purposeful solitude of travelling alone - a scene pilgrimage? One of my best experiences last summer was going to Solskogen all alone, but that was by car and just a six hour drive. I wonder what something a bit more extensive would feel like.
