my contribution to chaos constructions winter 2o15. after finding out that the party has an intro compo + accepts remote entries i grabbed a piece of code from my hd and added some elements :) enjoy!

very pretty, although the black alpha-blended bars dont do it for me. are they a byproduct of the code or do you actually spend bytes on those? if so they can maybe be invested in a better way.

wysiwtf: They are no byproduct :) Without them the intro looked really empty and boring to me so I played around and made that decision. My first instinct was something vertical but ... that was boring too to me. I also had those bars moving but it did not look good, to much motion in the ocean :D

(and I really like the alpha blended stuff, which massivly adds to the aesthetics ( i think it doesn't look like a simple coder effect and more like a complete screen this way, but thats only my opinion) )
