To get the obvious pun out of the way: Left me cold.
Also, cut out those lame attempts at nostalgia induction. Doesn't work, looks half-assed and uninspired.

Quite nice.
A hell of a beauty.
what a terrible mess. A best of "what to do to make your demo look more dated than a rusty amiga in your back garden".
Awesome! :)
The infofile is a joke, this demo runs fast with two cores, and with 256MB video memory.

Really enljoyed this production again
runs perfect fine on my 9800gtx and quadcorio
i gotta agree with thomaes and navis here though, when i seen the c64 i was like, gonna facepalm myself if they show a c64 screen. and sadly, i had to.
totally killed the nice vibe i had going on with the nice scenery and bugs running around, but from there it went nowhere.
so, piggy.

Pretty good...
thumbs up for multicore.
I have mixed feelings about it (+effects, music -untextured green nature, computers buried on the garden), maybe I will change my mind later.
I liked it overall and the frozen C64 was nice. I was expecting to see something on the small C64 screen down there though :)
Terribly flat. Also, the crowdpleasing attempts are simply ridiculous and misplaced.
god that small C64 screen. What the hell was that all about? Top spot in my "most misplaced design items ever" list.
Makes "winnerdemo" (remember that?) look like a TBL masterpiece by comparison.

Frozze!
hell no
Huge letdown, direction is all over the place and not so good looking.
nope
What tomaes, navis, dixan, navis and zplex said, except without the thumb down.
http://pouet.net/prod.php?which=13033
i didn't like it at all yet it's still an respectable piece of effort and just because you can do way better i don't give you a thumb down, so piggie
I liked the opening tunnel and the soundtrack, but as a demo it was just ok.
what a cheap crap...Maybe opening tunnel is ok, rest is not.
хуйня
messy, incoherent, crowdpleaser gimmicks, totally uninteresting music and terrible colors...
doesn't quite have the panache of rove or magellan.. music was good but didn't fit the atmosphere of the visuals. design was a bit incoherent. maybe the info was copied from magellan, because this ran perfectly fine on dual core.
Liked the music. The rest.. not so much
pc demo.........
This demo is a good one, dark with a good contrast between the world and the effects. The C64 screen pop up is really strange and disturb but it's a nice and dynamic demo.
I like it, very nice music and good graphics. And the obvious crowdpleasing wasn't that bad either except for the blue c64 screen which really totally doesn't fit and should have been left out. Other than that a very enjoyable demo for me.
Sucks, lighting saves it from thumb down.
Thumb up for the C64 and Amiga 500 which are really loking good covered by mud !
The "frozen" thing (spheres that freeze all the scene) seems not to be really succefully executed... pity

this was really unpretty :(
A motivating piggie to keep your mood up from me!
the rebels experience
Missing some kind of "attractiveness"
what uncle-x said.
Like Rahow said :)
good!
love it!
not too bad
2002 called...
Worse directed than a bad fairlight demo, but at least it runs on my machine.

So Farbraush has a nice 3D engine. This we know. Too bad it's only used for a boring flyby.

I thought it was awesome.
Just thought the little C64 screen was pointless.

i try to judge demos by a group's own standards...so compared to what i expect from farbrausch...this gets a thumbdown.
ugly
ugly
Strange prod, I have hardly seen demos with so many details I like and dislike mixed together. Enjoyed the music though.
really nice color palette. a realy good tune trying to fit the visuals. nice and sharp details but also bad flat looking effects and a lil random direction.
the c64 screen is for the glimpse of Full-HD comparison huh? ;) it really needs that.
it looks cool but it's just rather a better piggy. shit thumb.

While not the best from Farbrausch, this still was not bad, good music btw. as usual :)
not as bad as I expected.
reminds me "Kasparov". everything is grey.

Ugly, random and cheesy. So yes, I too can see the resemblence to "Kasparov".
what SaphirJD said
Very good 3D scenes for.... 2000 year.
good farbrausch + rebels combination
nice (with good c64 & amiga parts)
meh
Excellent!
Yes it's cheesy and pointless, but it's a solid production imo. Miss Piggy it is.
I have mixed feelings about this demo, the quality is very uneven. The keyboard is beautiful, I enjoyed the tunnel, but there are many design problems.
Amiga object is wonderfull but rest is just ok.....
nice start, but after that falls flat on its face. It does not suck, but is boring :/
Very good one
very nice soundtrack and what stingray said.
beautiful (and full of images from the past). I think this demo is underestimated, this is my opinion. After the tastes and colors.. ;)
Nothing is "just okay" in this prod. I can see lot of detailed objects in this prod, from ground objects to the clouds. All are very well polished. Given these details, I can hardly say this demo "sucks". And I am almost sure that those who thumbed down, should they rewatch it, would change their mind.
superb
nice
Nice one, I think as well. I also like the sync of visuals and audio and the visual transition effects.
There is much work in this demo and i appreciate it. But i guess i am spoilt due to the many good demo concepts etc. and i feel this one is only ok.
Something is missing to make it a special experience for me. I cannot name it though.

soundtrack roxxs!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_I7xAG3danY
i saw the demo on the big screen. first i thought the soundtrack was still ugly, but was not. at home i tested soundtrack, and it was very well mixed. i think the atmosphere of the demo was killed cause of the compo audio guys... i think they did bass+ 10 and also a lot of hardwareCompression for the demos before.
the scenes are nice, but a little boring, and there are some technical problems maybe of the drivers.
i still not know why there are so much thumb downs for that? piggy would be fair, design is also ok. music is top, and thumb up for farbrausch&rebels experiment.

i was entertained while watching this.
the commodore cliches were a bit over the top, but who cares.
the direction was a bit borring though, so no thumbs today.

blub
I've had it with Farbrausch putting Commodore references in their goddamn PC productions. Made me cringe.
i dont understand the bitching here...especially from NAVIS who didnt even deliver at revision (...one day or another ppl will bitchslap ASD for object recycling aswell)
Farbrausch and Rebels deliver always, and sure they dont do it to win prizemoney.
I loved it...

Well deserved third place.
After watching the Nuance demo I'd say it maybe should have placed second...
_docd: In general I don't like to thumb down productions and this is the first Farbrausch demo that I give a thumb down in 10 years. Whenever I do so I try to justify it by pointing out the problem IMHO. I think this works better for the group in question than a half baked pat on the back.
I also don't believe in quantity first, quality second (in general). Nobody has a contract to deliver a production at assembly or revision or any other party. Also, in this forum, everyone has an opinion: from the seasoned producer to the 1 glop guy.

I liked some of it, but honestly in general I felt bored.
felt a bit like a compo filler, not a whole lot going on and somewhat sloppy.
only average... the music makes it a piggy
In genera; FR releases have diffrent quality/styles many different people behind it and FR has cooperated with alot of groups (thus the difrent quaity/styles)
Mostly above average tovery good sometimes even a legendary release..
who cares its just the concept of the group
although ASD has released some prods which are definately not ASD quality but fits in the perception of its maker..
Every release should be truesured.. the demoscene is getting to old the stream of releases are getting less.. Without amongst others Chaos/Navis/Smash the demoscene would loose a huge bit of it's quality.
Therefor: a thumb for this release :)

The music is good.
Had some nice touches with the fossil scenes, the music is also good.
great music but 3d modeling and texturing could have been much better.
Isn't FR produkkt that was before, but okish! ^-^
Werkkzeug productions stand and fall with the capabilities of the director and the design team in charge of it.
Like it !
One of these days I wish Zero Punctuation would do demo reviews too. Sorry guys, this was just awful.
81 Frozzen!
the look of the plants kinda spoiled it for me. still a nice demo, though.
soundwise okay but boring as hell
This feels like you took like 2 minutes to come up with the entire concept and then started producing the whole thing. Which I don't think is a very good workflow, as it produces nothing but stuff which is completely obvious and clichéd. And while you could argue that the same thing applies to "We Have Accidently Borrowed Your Votedisk" (which I just thumbed up) - unlike that demo there's just no fun side to this. And being no fun while playing the retro card doesn't match very well.
I like it!
Feels like a 3D-flyby without some proper direction, but with some vote fishing with the use of c64 and amiga models. Sure, the engine looks nice but I know you can do much better.
Motivational thumb.
Motivational thumb.
Some scenes are really cool, but as a whole this demo just went by.
it's not more than ok.
chromag: thanks for the link, much easier to listen to. i sense some sarcasm in your comments on the remix.
some nice scenes and other than others i really like the basic idea of stuff happening in a meadow.
however, there are some points that stop me from really linking it: some very bad textures for the plants, overuse of a lot of elements, the mentioned c64/amiga-cliches and i don't really seem to get the arrangement of everything.
but my main issue is: seriously, why didn't you just use the fantastic track by chromag which has varying moods and also a nice build-up? instead: the flashier but somehow erratic "scooterish" (sorry...) remix. might be a reason why the direction seems to go nowhere...

Soundtrack saves it, but anyway: Only Piggy for this...
Apart from the c-64 screen overlay I quite liked it.
a demo that nobody needs..
Reminds me old and same rather dull 3D fly-by´s from Smash Designs. Only soundtrack save it from piggie.
next time, please do not add crappy rusty C64 (kitschy crowdpleaser) in Pc demos. thx.

Must say that I don't like it. Sorry guys...
ok
It's almost like another one of those dark emo demos from visualice. Doesn't even look that nice either; looks like something a competent group could have farted out many years ago. Didn't care for the music either.
I didn't see anything that justified the scary hardware requirements (unlike Magellan), so this new werkkzeug 4 thing needs serious optimization.
So I guess that means I should hate it.

The different bugs were nice, and some other parts were nice too - like the illuminated ground in the beginning. When FR and RBS are involved, the expectations rise and it is difficult to come up with state of the art everytime. It is an average demo this time, but I am still okish entertained.A pig it is then.
ouch.
Some really cool effects in here, but the overall direction is just not good. Also, the plants looked like leftovers from a mid 00's fps.
The blatant "retro" scenes are cringeworthy, and plants the thumb firmly downwards.

Oh lord, what happened here..
Oh well, I liked it.
The content of the demo was pretty nice, but didn't like the fact that it is quite heavy concerning the hardware aspect but that's the definition of a demo i guess, stretching the machine to its limits... also gloom is right, plants need a better texture that fits the whole atmosphere... so a thumb up for the content.
sorry, it was lug00ber that commented about the plants, but they still need a better texture...
nice work.
some cool parts..

i couldn't disagree more. Opposed to this production visualice's stuff to me was always coherent in mood/style and interesting to watch which i sadly can not say about this prod. ymmv ofcourse..
:)
not really..
kind of meh
not my cup of tea. rather too simple looking, the plants were like some from UT3. useless camera movements and a bland soundtrack. seen better from FR
nide demo
There are way too many things wrong with this demo...
Some semi scenes and some horrible music.
somewhat ok
I wasn't impressed by the retro bits in particular, specially after just watching Masagin where C64 and Amiga memes were used in a creative way that added to the prod.
on my geforce 9600 it misses a few effects, and is a bit choppy, but is otherwise nice and watchable
Takes about 5 minutes for windows to become usable afterwards though!! ;)

"music" vote.
"Looks better in realtime than on youtube"
WORD!
WORD!
Huge production! Great breaks-tune :)
C64 & AMIGA Rulez :)
not bad
Nice, it remembers me to my carefree days with 'commodore in the lab'... :)
Just plain boring 3D scene showcasing with a weird mixture of high poly and "low" poly models (.. the plants, wtf?). Soundtrack was ok. Also: not sure if it was by design or a fault in the youtube video or the PC it was recorded on, but the weird staggers during some scene changes bothered me.
Meh.
kick ass!
Nice
some good parts
great atmosphere, surprised I hadn't commented before now :)
awesome :)
lightning is too dark imho
2002 called, they want their demostyle back.
I forgot how bad this was on so many aspects and that I didn't comment on it out of politeness. but this lead to me watching it again today and regretting it
