Optimus, it MAY look nooon-ish because of the fact that Ra (the main graphician) and Moby (the musician) joined Noon shortly after having left Sanity, and those two were responsible for the style :)

The design king of the A500. If you've seen "No" by Nooon on the PC, now you know what its gfx artist and musician did before :) (and some Arte pics were reused in No!). Of course, great variety of effects too, some of the best ever on the A500 (and all on just one disk).
It's funny that, even though Arte placed 3rd at TP3, it's usually the only A500 demo to appear on modern Amiga charts. PC owners, you should still watch it too; you have no excuse since it works in both Fellow and UAE. :)

excellent demo! i can't watch anymore since i saw it 200+ times but it rocks hard. the only bad thing is that like most of oldschool productions the graphics are mostly rip from other artists (here carlos nine) ):, great anyway!

with good sense of design (most likely Ra's ideas).
Although this is a demo wich took a big leap in so-called "design", it's still has that "let's whack together everything we've made" -feel. It's clear that Ra wasn't designing palettes to some of those ugly effects.

this demo is way cool.. not only is the code very impressive, but the music has what we like to call 'the funk'. it's not really mindblowing, but it's just a nice, solid demo that showcases a lot of great talent.

The best A500 demo, I guess. "No AGA" is kind of like "no 3d acceleration!" today, although the latter makes significantly less sense...
Anyway, it's brilliant, packed with great graphics, cute spheres and fancy zoomers.

I've been voting for this demo in all chart mags ever since it was released. In my eyes there is absolutely nothing, on any machine, that compares with this demo.
It's overflowing with originality, technical and artistic mastery. It's such a shame that nobody will ever achieve these standards again.

Incredible art by Ra... I love his work in Stars, but you gotta love the old pixel look of the best Amiga demos. Effects are old, but I think most of them hold up well even to this day. This is also some of Moby's best work. Cool synching on the text, too. There's just such a great balance between everything... you get some amazing pieces of 2D art with nice effect and a varied soundtrack. Beautiful work!

Revolutionary gfx! Ra was the scene's answer to Picasso. Only twice as nuts.
Everything's great, but i did really love Moby's Soundtrack. Very impressive, especially when you know it's only 8bit/4 channels audio.

this is the demo that shows in the best way the differenz that was between amiga and atari st scene end of 80s beginning 90s. never any atari demo was so easy to look and listen like this one. I always called it "amiga style" that time.

Really cool work, very professional, closes the atmosphere of early 90's demos. Those pals were professionals. It's superb in all ways. Ever wondered why does it need 68020 CPU, because nowadays the effects don't seem too 020-ish and I think plain 68K could do it too.

Total classic! One of the best OCS productions. Personal fun fact: For many years I had a corrupted floppy with this demo and it crashed at the end of part one. What a surprise when I discovered years later that the demo had the second, even better, part! I though that the error message (famous Chaos's SOS demo operating system) was intended effect :-)

A good demo by one of my favourite Amiga demogroups. The music is ace and most effects are too. I especially like the Sane plasma. ;) Already back in 1993 Sanity understood an excellent demo didn't need AGA. I don't particularly like most of the gfx (the style just isn't my cup of tea), but the R.W.O. anti-digit message is funny. One thing I have always hated are the mirrored teksts. Why?!
