I will be honest, Ruari (rc55) and iq can help solidifying my statement if necessary. Last year I told rc55 that I really don't appreciate old-school and in fact it's not quite worth the hype it's getting and some more crap.

Well, this demo and Elude's demo have changed my opinions on my previous statement. They caused me to realize that an old-school demo is not about long and boring scrollers with a BITS-style logotype moving around in function of a sine-wave. In fact, I even started to consider Amiga as a true rival platform for the PC. Edge of Disgrace, this demo and Lightshaft have caused me to completely abandon my previous statement.

One of the best demos, if not the best; I have ever seen. I love you guys. I so fucking love you.

In the middle of that memorable mess that have already been praised for its originality, I think there is one gem in particular: the robot scene. Many have stated here that they loved it, my friends and I did too, and it's telling when a scene in a demo is popular enough to get its own homage by another prod.

One aspect about this scene that leaves me especially impressed, is not only how well executed, but how efficient it is. In no more than 10 seconds you have managed to introduce two characters, build up a drama between them, add comedy, and conclude it with a satisfying end. That is nothing short of a tour de force.

Well, I'm not sure if I've commented on this prod before, and I'm not sure if anything about it makes sense :) . But I certainly enjoyed watching it today! I liked the robots and the tractors the best.

Many gems spread throughout. Military shoe with a mouth of sharp teeth catching an airplane, robot arms picking a quarrel, tron tracktors and going down the sink turning into a racing car's tunnel, an old mobile phone acting like the face of a swearing man... And because of the nicely paced flow from one scene to another, the result became a great demo. The soundtrack fits perfectly.
