Quite enjoyable... it all feels so 1994 in some peculiar way, especially the music (I liked it)...

Overall I liked this demo, even though it's a bit slow-paced for my (usual) tastes. The design is good, but strangely the whole thing only seems like a 64K intro, not a 4 meg demo.
I somehow thought the same as thom. But still a nice demo, with nice feeling, nice flow and very nice music. Unlike many slow-paced demos, this wasn't boring at all IMO.
I agree. Nothing mindblowing here, but a real must for sentimental oldskoolers.
I think the music alone deserves a thumbs up since tuneful tracks like this are so rare these days.

Ehrm.. I totally agree that it could have been a 64k intro - but that would have been without the music (1.5 megs) ... also, the demo was finished in a hurry and I'm pretty sure there's some unused data included in the zip...
We left out quite a bit of effects etc. because of lack of time, but I'm glad to hear there are some people who enjoy it anyway :)

well coded software engine is great at recycling typical hardware effects and there's some good fontwork..
otherwise, rather dull and lacks ideas or concept.. not a lot to criticize but not much to like either. i find the music very cloying, sorry. this demo is not *bad*, just overrated.

A very mellow and "philosophical" experience that is achieved by both the visuals and sound being a little heavy-hearted. Great use of particles/flares as pictured in the shot. (welcome back from '94, particle tunnel) They work well in other scenes too.
The first "ball over a pool of water" scene and "the end" seem completely out of place, the latter also being ugly. The blob that can be seen in the shot is also pretty much a standard demo prop. Nice little demo nonetheless.
