I watched it twice and it kicks ass! Excellent 3D, models, concept, music... And, I've seen Don Quichote. This is *not* boring. It's simply excellent.

The demo may be a bit on the dull side, but it's definitely different. Not just another static 3D scene flyby. Here we see some animated objects, specifically the very cool robot. Unfortunately, I really feel the excitement level needs to be upped.

It has a few bad things (cheap textures & lyrics) but the overall mood is very nice. Why do demo people so often confuse subtle with boring?

I didn't find it boring at all.. good models (yet a little too 'all is full of love'-lookalike) and nice mood, like in a short movie.. I'll give them a thumb up just for trying to be new.

It actually had a story behind it, even if I couldn't figure out what it was. At least if I ever see a grafitti panda, I'll know where it came from.

If I want to sleep I just put this demo on, and adjust my system timer to shut down after 10 seconds.
Nice modelling and animation, but that's pretty much it. I kinda waited all the time the demo to start, but then it just ended.

I usually *hate* 3d demos but this one is a major kick ass production with awesome key-framing and a really cute design... not to mention the great soundtrack. respect.

bloody great artwork. This looks like some kind of web company demo.. :) Professional all the way through. Shame that the party factor is a bit low.. With a more continuos pace (music and visuals) it would have been a lot more entertaining..

frogwize powah! it deserves 30 thumbups. these guys make the most interesting story demos i've seen so far. and this one is *very* underestimated imo. i really hope that they're planning to continue with doing demos, providing us with something much much more than usual demoscene metaballs+beats. :)

This was a nice one to watch, some parts didn't age well, like the ramped up green, or the lack of AA. However it's enjoyable a lot, and I really dig those flying artists and some of the 2D overlays. Music might be a mood thing, it's partially too slow for me - though really, really upbeat music would not have fit either.
i was just rewatching this on youtube and thought that this is the best example of how direction works, despite of content, style context and the platform. With us and this prod both 12 years older, it's still the best.
The plot is stupid and quite badly directed. I do appreciate the design and music though, especially the latter was excellent.

great 3d for 2001 and I like the visual style a lot, but the pacing is way off for what the "story" is giving. wasted potential, because like this it's just way too boring

I had all but forgotten about this :-) It's, of course, a demo that lives and dies by its character animation, and especially for 2001, this is pretty neat with all the kinematics and stuff. It does get a bit boring, indeed, but it's all nicely done, and the soundtrack (while not being very traditional demoscene-ish at all) works well to support the story.

this legit looks like an intro cutscene for some obscure game that came out only in japan. The whole vibe of it speaks mid 2000s starting from the font or the music. I'm only new to demoscene and coding in general so i can only guess how much time and effort was spent into making this.
