Go Mack, GO!
Go Mack, GO!
OK, this demo shows up what most current developers have not understood yet.Rock music ROCKS ! ;) .... The best demo ever with Desert Dream
Alliance Design OWNED us with this one.
Update:
This is Alliance Design (subgroup)/Quartex co-op.
Many various effects + guitar music by Moby.
Truly oldschool.

It rulez, Quartex should have done more demos :)
Alliance Design did do more ;) .. I won't even try to judge this subjectively since my classic-factor is so high.

Definetely one of my favourite amiga demos! The music really made this stand out from the rest when this was released. And like others have said, the rest is great too! A classic.
YES!!!!!!
Moby!
Shame on me, never gave it a thumb up. One of the best 'knulla kuk' amiga mod ever!
knulla knuk !!!
IT'S MY ALL-TIME FAVOURITE TRACKED MUSIC !!!

Hot routines.
Really great demo by Quartex.
Especially the soundtrack rules!

Alltime favourite!! Tune roxxs!!
The thumb up is missing!:-))
A real classic, MOBY!!!
Classic alright. Watched many a time.
Simply awesome!
Another Amiga Classic ...
Somehow I have problems with this prod. Can't say if I like it or not. Maybe, it's because of the coders age. He was one year younger than me (and I was still young) and he released such a huge megapiece of work! I was so frustrated!!!
Awesome classic in every way
For me one of the best tune ever on Amiga. thanls Moby
Thanx for making it possible to download the video ! Nice to see it again !
Yeah
cool.. i esp. love the bubbles!
one of my favourite all stars!
Moby tune rocks - Demo tho!

Can't believe I haven't voted for this one before. I remember the loud 'Boooh' when the these guys were given the 2nd place. But Kyd/Balle were really generations ahead when it came to design & entertainment, so Global Trash deserved the win in my book. But both of them great demos ...
wheee i haven't thumbed this one either. So here.
Steel: you were there? You old fart! ;)
It must have been a cool compo (Elysium, Global Trash and Substance).
It must have been a cool compo (Elysium, Global Trash and Substance).
Keops, yeah me and my crew, Light, even had a demo in the compo ... but we were young & dumb :-D
Thanx for that production, it was beed added to: modcast.de, the Amiga-Modfile Podcast and Radio-Stream resource.

Quality from France!
A quality classic.
What micdune said.
Great all round demo with a classic track!
One of the best!
fucking awesome music!
What where the names of the other demos on the same disk as this one?
What everyone else said.
This is one of my favorites.

Thank you for this mindblasting demo!. The mod totally rocks!!!!
It does
For the massive amount of code!
M-m-m-moby!!! :)
Great amount of content squeezed into this onefiler.
The soundtrack by Moby still stands as one of the finest pieces of demo music ever!

Some quite nice routines, but moby's music @ fractal part, rock.
A classic.
unique!! a classic masterpiece by Quartex and alliance design
I need a slap for not giving this a rulez mark until now.
I watch/heard this demo soooo many times. This is an amiga classic.

Ruled when it was released, but I feel it has lost a bit of it's punchline during the years.
Impressive code, impressive music ! And impressive party release (Global Trash, Substance, Elysium, wow... That suxx I was too young for partying at that time !!)
I remember keeping the demo running only for listening the music in loop !!

great classic!
some nice stuff in this one.
Didn't really impress me long ago. I guess it came in the wake of more interesting vector demos from the year before. Even though there are lots of parts it's basically a recap of those. Even the insanely ugly vector color choices!! :D seem to have followed along, except for the endpart.
Moby's tune is outstanding and demo itself contains some really neat effects.
Yes, of course.
Hmm, wonder why this classic is still missing my thumb!
Loved it back in time and still love it! Will never forget about the Bubbles and the Soundtrack, which immediately started playing in my head once i clicked this prod! :)

The demo is really nice but that soundtrack is just phenomenal. Love it as much today as i did back in the early 90's. Elmobo genius!
i really dig this one
Don't remember to have seen it before, but it's an excellent demo!
The music is a classic! <3

Excellent code, killer music
Rulez!
Oui. C'est tres cool.
That tune is a timeless classic, even with a black screen I would thumb this...nevertheless the visuals kick ass, too
No idea what this is trying to be really but I know I've been listening to this track since teens so:
(and I mean the demo itself isn't all that bad, some nice graphics and little details etc.)

On e of the best Amiga(500) demos.
nice
Classic. I still remember the music and the bubbles.
The music.

and some very 90s amiga demo with 3d objects and scrollers

This is one of the best demos, with probably one of the most memorable songs (even with the title: Knulla Kuk !!!)
Still pleasant to watch and listen after ... 31 years (!)
It's from the last months my computing before I turned 18 and other stuff came more important, and even if I don't remember exactly this demo (although I recognized the music instantly so maybe I've seen this back then) this includes everything a Amiga demo from those days should have. Sure all the latest productions (2020+) are superb in their modern way, but demos like this is what Amiga demos are about for me.
Definitively one of my all time favorites.
The music alone is enough to secure a thumbup no matter what the rest is, obvi. So how about the rest?
That first image, why is the reflected lighting on the different side from the explosion? I don't get it. Want explain plz.
Rotating flat vector credits are fine, but that low framerate vectorscroller did not age well, hah. 50fps or go home.
"special" 3d stars are OK, they get a pass.
The bubbles hold up well on account of the palette choice. Nice!
Filled vectors are atleast filled with more than crap, so OK. I still do like the mix of vectorbobs, lines and flatshaded surfaces.
That Mandelbrotish thing was about par for the time. Slightly boring nowadays.
More low framerate vectors, standard for 1991 but I curse them now, ugh.
Interactive steerable vector corridor, yay for that. This is something we mostly lost with todays compo culture.
Juggler callback is nice, except the actual Juggler demo was smooth.
Plasma colorcycle is OK I guess. By this time it was a fairly used up effect, but they did it well. Can't read a word of that scroller though.
Quartexland, meh. The high complexity is ambitous but if you can't render faster it does not age well at all. But again kudos for being interactive.
Endpart is OK, atleast I have nothing to say about it.
Now go away, I want to listen to the music again.
