- demo Windows Dark demon by Andromeda Software Development [web] & Spöntz [web] & Nocturns
- There is no explanation about running out of time and ending the demo in a rush when we had three entire months before the party... ok, of course there is an explanation but I neglect its existence.
The problem of this demo is that as everything is contained in the same shader, so syncing it was extremely painful.
I also broke Navis' mind when I forced the music BPM to be 130 instead of 120 and he had to recalculate all these little numbers. So this one is probably the only ASD demo that you will see at 130 bpm in your entire lifespan.
Also, every time you see a white color fade in the demo, add two entire days of Navis' life to the equation. He had to compile the shader in his mind and, after vomiting, write three tiny lines in a specific place with his little keyboard. - isokadded on the 2018-02-14 22:59:37
- demo Windows Report your Neighbour by Saksalainen Laatu & The Notorious P.I.G.
- Amazing surprise prod and idea. It should have ranked way higher in the party.

- demo Windows Monoamine by Altair
- This one was by far my favorite from the demo compo. Every scene was carefully designed, it perfectly fits with the music, and there are new surprises as you advance in the demo. Congratulations!!!!

- demo Windows Monolith by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- This is a demo with two clear parts that cry to be joined with something more tan a fade out. I would tried to mix the rendering also. Apart of that and some small particles that go trough big ones (sorry, I am a perfectionist, you know that from the jury preview), this is a great demo although I would ask for more protagonism in the music, like in previous demos.
And yes! you need more sound effects!!! of course there are some, but there are scenes with the monolith that feel pretty disconnected from the music without them.
True clear winner amongst the other demos at assembly. Loved it! - rulezadded on the 2015-08-05 22:54:29
- 64k Linux Textperiment by PKTteam [web] & Genshiken
- Despite of the missing columns during the projection, this one deserved to win, but Ham was there.

- 64k Amiga AGA Binary Roads by Software Failure [web]
- The car scene was expected, because the screenshot, but completely unexpected because I was expecting new code or routines and instead I found the same routines than in other demos.
Instead of hacking the Amiga Ham hacks it own demoengine, and this is also represented in the demo, in some of the backgrounds.
The cool JosSs music does not fit the beginning but this is then forgotten as the demo advances and progress to the final price.
Ham could have used the remaining disk space to add more scenes or graphics, but leaves the demo as is, indicating that this is exactly the product he wanted to deliver. Nothing more, nothing less.
Therefore here is my vote to the entry that rulez the 64k democompo. - rulezadded on the 2015-07-28 22:08:41
- demo Windows Mrs Escher's Nightmare by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- Here is my thumb up for a really interesting demo and a really interesting idea.
And you can still develop this idea even further in other demos, so let's see what happens...
Perhaps it was a bit long, but this is just a subjective perception. Anyway, I loved the meshes that get alive when drawn and start to become part of the prod itself :) - rulezadded on the 2014-08-05 15:44:19
- demo Amiga AGA Mind Floating Palace by Software Failure [web]
- This demo rulez, but not because the demo. It is the concept. No, it is even beyond the concept. What we see here is truly Ham. His mind. And his mind is more or less like it was one year ago.
I am still waiting for new effects, music that I don't mind to keep in the mp3 player or some sense that glues all the scenes together. Maybe these will never come, but it doesn't mind.
This demo rulez because it was made by a single person for a vintage platform. And we must respect that. But Ham, you still have to surpass ISFOD. And for this you need time and patience. You have both, so just stop sleeping and start right now the next year's demo, as the bastards could present something and then.... well, you know, then nothing.
