- I try and spread the word, as it were, about the demoscene, to newbies and non-believers.
It tends to be this demo that brings them to the faith.
I dig replay, at times, but the "poetry" they have in their demos is really quite dull (perhaps it loses a little in the translation?) - bakkslide is pure art. pure fucking art. not the most technically impressive intro ever... but the first time i watched this, it almost made me cry. admittedly i was on a comedown, but still, this is emotive stuff, and that tune rocks. its proper. i would dance to that shit if it came on in a club.
and it runs on just about any pentium system. it was this demo that made me take notice of the pc demoscene - previously, it bored me. - rulezadded on the 2001-07-05 21:53:20
