- 64k Windows fr-08: .the .product by Farbrausch [web]
- _dylan_: Yeah, that was what first got me into Farbrausch. Unfortunately, the system requirements for that thing are off the chart! I got a 128mb GeForce FX 5200 just so I could play that game, at about 10FPS. Eh...
Farbrausch still rules. And this is still about the best demo yet. ;) - isokadded on the 2004-07-07 06:12:14
- 64k Windows fr-022: ein.schlag by Farbrausch [web]
- Darnit, I got that "hidDEN" part stuck on my mind, so I'm gonna stumble over giving mad props to Farbarusch again...
Though I've got to say, it's ABOUT FREAKIN' TIME Farbrausch does a more coherant, down-to-earth demo! GREAT work! Got kinda tired of watching "visualization" demos! Cool music, great GFX, it even made me BUST UP laughing (like, the first scroller)! Amazing stuff!
But I don't even know how to LOOK for this "hidDEN" part... what, do you type "DEN" somewhere? Or look for "DEN"? Are there hidden parts in other demos? I'm lost! I thought you said they were non-interactive! - rulezadded on the 2004-07-07 05:44:55
- 64b MS-Dos fr-0.1: constant evolution by Farbrausch [web]
- Heh... cool! I was gonna floppy this and take it over to my 286 to have it do something cool, but then I took a look at the ASM source... hell no! :P

- demo Windows fr-035: deleted scenes by Farbrausch [web]
- Nope... this is the first "Farbrausch" demo I've definately had to say doesn't deserve the "Farbrausch" name. If they can cram fr.08 into 64kb, and have it make sense, why isn't this a 32k demo? 8 MB?! What happened to Farbrausch? Everything about this demo is completely abstract... no grounds in reality... if I wanted to see this kind of stuff, I'd fire up Milkdrop in Winamp.

- 4k Windows fr-040 by Farbrausch [web]
- They fit... a voice synth... in FOUR KILOBYTES?! AND a software 3d renderer? (that's soft, right?)... AND a synth? I thought 64k was good! WOW!

- 32b MS-Dos fr-016c: fuenf (in your face) by Farbrausch [web]
- So that's actually what it's supposed to do? Shame, shame. But for 5 bytes, it's better than a corruped comp-smoker!

- 32b MS-Dos fr-016: bytes by Farbrausch [web]
- I like the "less than 0 bytes" idea... seems pretty logical ;)
And yes, it does seem rather curious how they manage to form circles. It's straight ASM, with no supporting libraries/files... how the heck...?
Nice work, Farbrausch... as usual ;) - isokadded on the 2004-06-12 09:58:59
- 64k Windows fr-030: candytron by Farbrausch [web]
- Still my favorite. I ran it on my old 32mb Radeon, then upgraded to a 128MB GeForce FX 5200... amazing how much difference some RAM can make. I have this song on my MP3 player, too; the music and the graphics are equally impressive. You could shut off your monitor and listen... and be amazed that the music is in 64k, or you can mute the sound and watch the graphics and be amazed it's in 64k. Either way, it's simply mind boggling.

- 64k Windows fr-08: .the .product by Farbrausch [web]
- Wow. This demo runs on any computer I give it to, and (not being a "demoer") I introduce everyone who boasts their "260GB hard drives" and "2GB of RAM" to .the .product. Even today, it blows them away, every time. If Farbrausch could get together in the video game scene, with some great video-game minds, they'd have a total monopoly over the whole industry. I mean, the music is beyond definition, the graphics are mind-blowing... hell, these guys can redefine computers, if it weren't for the dang money-pumping upgrade crap the world is forcing people to do! GO FARBRAUSCH! You guys ROCK!
