• One of those interesting cases where the demo doesn't run correctly on modern hardware any more. Either watch a video or use dgVoodoo2 using the Direct3D 8 dll- https://github.com/dege-diosg/dgVoodoo2/
  You'll need to play around with the settings in the wrapper's Control Panel to get it to work as it should look on your particular hardware and bear in mind theproduct was designed for 4:3 screens (even though they letterboxed it?) I haven't experimented too much but I think it may just be a case of using the forced VSync option to prevent the glitches.

• As for a review: A very relaxing demo for me. Something about the combination of the music and ambitions of the group with what was very new hardware at the time. Not ugly at all.

  I quite liked it but it reminded me of crappy old shareware so it was an interesting find but ultimately unrewarding. The moon being cracked in half and patched up again was a nice idea though.

• Your modern graphics card probably gave up on 640x480 years ago so run this in windowed mode with the /w parameter.

• demo MS-Dos Sparks by Mandrixx & Flan & Willbe
• I expect this looks incredible on a CRT. I mean it still looks pretty amazing on a modern screen but there's something about the blur a CRT does that would give this so much more. Works flawlessly in DOSBox, which is somewhat ironic now considering they eventually got around to GUI OS ports five years later.

• Yeah, I liked it. Nothing too more advanced than the typical student stuff but the high framerate and a cool font is enough for me.
  Runs really well on DOSBox ECE. I didn't have any flashing and GUS worked too. Nice.
