- demo Windows Evoke VICE by ThePetsMode [web]
- Finally we can watch all the effects!!! It is a very fresh entry, with great sync! I don't know why the performance drops in the palmtrees section, maybe it in on purpose? but still very neat, congratulations!!!

- demo Windows we're not back by Spöntz [web]
- Hi Zavie, the car scene in this demo is an evolution of another car scene that you can see in our "don't deceive me" demo, that was presented two months after rupture. Although both demos feature an edges shader, rupture is more about morphings and ours was in exploding things.
I have to admit that when I saw rupture I was worried about the similarities in that scene, but with our euskal party deadline so close we focused in completing the rest of the scenes of the demo.
Isaac2 suggested that there were not a first person camera in rupture, so we added it to our demo in the party place, and it worked very well, so in this demo we decided to add also the driver and the car dash. - isokadded on the 2024-08-20 09:50:54

- demo Windows Kite by Gaspode [web]
- I remember this one very well. So simple! And the music firs perfectly. I was wondering allot the time how was the process of animating the kite. Just math? Blender? I still don't know!!!

- What a trip... I remember, 12 years ago, a conversation with xphere. "We should redo all the tools" and "it will be fun" and "I would like to have kids too" and so on. Well, 12 years later I can say that we have the tools almost at the same level than in 2010!!! Remember that if you are lazy and start building your software stack over muddy floors you will need to rebuild everything and every day you decide not to do it generates future debt that will be paid no matter what.
Nytrik, open the data folder, locate the picture in the credits and replace it by yours and get your own credit!!! And you will also see my video unprocessed with the frying pan.
Gaspode, if you want the prequel to this demo you can also watch "don't deceive me" and get more car action. Other demos featuring the old version of the effects are "death of the death" and "die Änderung".
Now time to go home and rest. Many thanks for your comments!!! - rulezadded on the 2024-08-18 11:36:08
- demo Windows Dark demon by Andromeda Software Development [web] & Spöntz [web] & Nocturns
- There is no explanation about running out of time and ending the demo in a rush when we had three entire months before the party... ok, of course there is an explanation but I neglect its existence.
The problem of this demo is that as everything is contained in the same shader, so syncing it was extremely painful.
I also broke Navis' mind when I forced the music BPM to be 130 instead of 120 and he had to recalculate all these little numbers. So this one is probably the only ASD demo that you will see at 130 bpm in your entire lifespan.
Also, every time you see a white color fade in the demo, add two entire days of Navis' life to the equation. He had to compile the shader in his mind and, after vomiting, write three tiny lines in a specific place with his little keyboard. - isokadded on the 2018-02-14 22:59:37
- demo Windows Report your Neighbour by Saksalainen Laatu & The Notorious P.I.G.
- Amazing surprise prod and idea. It should have ranked way higher in the party.
