• Hmm.. works on my work windows 7 email reading laptop. but does crash if all audio devices are disabled.. (and/or no headphones connected). so yeah... i guess i should handle that border case. (and yes, the irony is not lost here)

• oh wow. someone is still using windows 8... i'm running windows 10, i guess i forgot to switch to legacy windows sdk when making the build. i'll make a new build later today. sorry 'bout that.

• Don't use dosbox. I don't. Use x86box or pcem... Definitely the best option is to use actual hardware :) Make sure you have at least 36 megs of memory. And of course the lame option is to run the demo_win.exe if you are on windows :) I'll see if i can have time to make builds for other platforms... I used a P133 with 64 Mb of memory during development and the compo machine was 233mmx (with even more memory) if i remember correctly. Also univbe/vesa 15/16/24/32 bit modes required. Sorry no fake truecolor in this prod.
