- Roadroller is a JavaScript packer for larger demos. Originally designed for js13kGames, it is also usable for demos as small as 4K although the gain might not be as significant. Node.js 14+ is required for compression but the decompressor can be run in virtually every modern browser.
It produces a JavaScript code that is meant to be further "compressed" in DEFLATE (ZIP, gzip or PNG bootstrap), but the sole job of DEFLATE is to overcome JavaScript's syntactic limitations and Roadroller is responsible for most compression.
