- i must admit. I saw this more times than any other Assembly 2002 production :-)
The music fits perfect with the intro which is fun! ::-).
Well, it has a design :-)

- Finally i saw this in my computer. Yeap, ASD rulez. They made one of the best demos ever seen.
However, ASD's style is not the style that i like (i prefer "fast and beaty" and "dark and melodic demos"). But this is a demo that you are not seeing too often. Most today's demos are flybys or bad written/boring effects (which i'm used to :). EOF is not a flyby and if someone says that has bad written or boring effects, (s)he has to see it again (but if (s)he still thinks that, then, whatever, everybody has a different taste for things).
@cp: The name and the music fits ok with this demo, which is a very good demo. You would say that these are "pathetic", if the demo was something that you see every day. But EOF is not an every day demo.
(and you can run it even on a P233 :)

- @jazzman: sometimes in a prod there is not that if you can code something, but how you use it in the prod. I mean that you may be able to code the best effects, but not to be able to use them correctly in order to make a good demo because you lack design ideas. At my opinion that what makes the good demo is the good design, so you can make a winner demo with classic effects but with good design. That has been prooved in the past many times (f.e. The Spot be Exceed - nothing new but however the good design gave it the first pos).
I didn't saw this prod yet, i'm downloading it now. When i see it i'll vote. Right now i was just answering to jazzman.

- intro Java UTJA by Nasty Bugs [web]
- @moT: well there is a standard and it's called JavaScript 1.5. Why? Because -as far as i know- JavaScript has been created by Netscape, so Netscape is the one who tells what's the standard and what not, at least until W3C decides to standarize it. Fortunatelly the most common browsers (IE, Mozilla) have support for JS1.5 (i'm not THAT sure about IE, but Mozilla has for sure :)).
Anyway i think that since this language exists isn't bad to make some more interesting things than just checking forms (where in my web pages i prefer to use server side checking than JavaScript, since there is the possibility for someone to have scripting turned off).
@robotriot: i will, but i don't think that JS isn't a real coding language :)
personally i love JavaScript mostly for one thing: you can add animation, better interaction, etc to a page without using some shitty stuff like Flash...
Well... hmm... that's all :)
