- demo Windows WowFactor by Hansa [web]
- No problems running it here, unlike their previous production which had some bugs. I have seen their previous productions and there's a notable progress here, worth tracking these guys.
However this demo lacks the WOW Factor! they claim. Music asks for an easier feeling, imo. These guys obviously have the skills, but they lack a good graphician, someone with better taste for textures and overall visuals.
They should work on their transitions too, there's an effect in which there's an overlay that just disappears (poop!) when the next effect begins.
I'll give it a 'rulez' cos there's some hardwork in here, and I've watched it several times, so something keeps bringing me back to it. - rulezadded on the 2002-03-26 23:54:16

- demo Windows Cadence and Cascade by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- Zafos up there, made a funny comment:
I'm sick of this ripped music commments. There was an original score for the demo but due to an e-mail accident it never managed to reach the coder. So stop blaming A.S.D.
Ok, then who the fuck should we blame? Was it the coder's mail server the one that packed and released the demo, presented it to a party and uploaded it to the major demoscene servers? Sorry, but I do not think so, so let's stop blaming some poor mail server, shall we?. The fact that some technical problem prevented anyone from getting the final material to assemble the demo doesn't excuse anybody from using ripped stuff. Full stop.
Talented people are aplenty in a party and you can ask for a score for your demo if you are lacking one. - isokadded on the 2002-01-06 21:38:26
- demo Windows Cadence and Cascade by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- Calling this the "best demo ever" is quite an over statement.
The visuals are pretty nice, although the choice of colors hurts the overall quality, methinks.
Some of the scenes last for too long, it makes the demo a bit slow paced.
The music, well, it's bad, it's ripped, it's poorly sampled and the "oh-oh" from ICQ is shameful. - isokadded on the 2002-01-06 21:31:00

- demo MS-Dos te-2rb by The Planet Of Leather Moomins [web]
- I am no glop whore, but I gotta post again in this case.
I think that the people that puts off this demo are missing the point. Of course you can dislike it, but do not discredit it. I am not going to be a crap-critic trying to figure out "what their authors meant". But I think that the guys behind this prod, have proved to the scene in past productions that they can, in fact, do the most awesome eyecandy. In this case the fact that there're flat visuals is not because the coders are crap, gimme a break.
I remember that when I watched it for the first time I went "NOW, WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?". I had to watch it again.
Look at the release date and think about the stuff that was being released back then. And try to say "not original, nothing to see here" again. - rulezadded on the 2001-12-31 08:12:30

- Bloody original for a C64 demo! I like the music, although one more pattern wouldn't have hurted.
