- demo Windows Horizontal Cool by Carillon & Cyberiad [web]
- hmmm, nice music, good design (in a slightly retro stylee).. and the rendering techniques rock.. but too much "scene" demotext kills it for me.. it did have the pacing of an ami demo however, so kudos for that, but most ami demos had more content than this..

- demo Windows Glon 243 by Cocoon [web]
- i watched this long, long ago.. for those who don't know, the idea for this was ripped from a (film) animation known as "dirty birdie".. i'm only giving it a rulez because i've given such to worse productions ;) and the humour is actually humourous, unlike other "funny" demos.. it's alright, but to really make the theme work, it should have gone on longer..

- intro Windows fintro00 by Fingersoft [web]
- argh... the background effect routine was nice, but it was painfully slow. i'm starting to wonder if the latest detonators are incompatible with high framerates..

- 512b MS-Dos worm by Proxium [web]
- aww, what an adorable (and tiny) worm. much nicer than the ones in my kitchen ;)

- demo Windows h3h3 by wamma [web]
- it's kinda cute.. happy lo-res effects.. lots of afros which is always a good thing.. music's nice, but sounds commercial (a good thing if it's not, i guess!).. i'm sure i'd appreciate this a lot more if i knew the people involved..

- demo Windows Persistent by Wipe [web] & ukonx [web]
- works nicely on 41.09 detonators / amd1.6g/256/w98se.. except for one ugly Persistent logo, this is very sweet.. good design and mood and really interesting texts.. unique mellow drum'n'bass style too.. it might have looked even nicer in higher res.. anyone know which is better? the chocolate chip cookie recipe from this one or the one in inf-propaganda? :)

- 64k Windows fr-019: poemtoahorse by Farbrausch [web]
- the final seems to load/decrunch much more slowly than the original.. nevermind, still deserves the credit it has received. much more stylish than the produkt. fR rule for size coding, obviously, but the sync, objects and design in this are all top notch. love all that text spinning around. i'll try reading more of it someday. the flower sequence towards the end is beautiful. the fR soft-synth sounds great as ever, even if the musical content doesn't quite reach the heights of everything else.

- demo Windows departure by Alpha Millenium Crew
- well coded software engine is great at recycling typical hardware effects and there's some good fontwork..
otherwise, rather dull and lacks ideas or concept.. not a lot to criticize but not much to like either. i find the music very cloying, sorry. this demo is not *bad*, just overrated. - isokadded on the 2003-01-18 03:04:24
- demo Windows rxplovac by Corrosion [web] & kosmoplovci [web]
- deserves praise. a demo with the feel of a tarkovsky movie. between the palette and the music the effect is decidedly downbeat and rather chilling, but in a subtle way. blue cubes are iffy, but anyways.. good demo, good code, good music, good art.

- demo Linux Windows Neocortex by PHn. [web]
- is very, very good. weird, distorted effects. excellent sync. really fast. interesting music. even the rgb color scheme works when it's all grunged up as is done here. too short, alas.
