• It is clearly one of the best looking 4Ks on ZX. Great tempo and just the right duration. I particularly appreciated your attention to synchronization between music and visuals. The tunnel scroller is the first on the platform as far as I know, and would be worthy of any top demo even without size restrictions. The coloured twisters are also in short supply.
  
  It is great to see Darklite+Offence on ZX Spectrum, and we really appreciate your bringing some of these design sensibilities along.

• I liked it very much, esp. knowing it is an old trusty Z80 under the bonnet. This seems to be one of the more graphics-rich platforms based on the basis of Z80, so it is fun to see it being capable of all this Amiga-like visuals. Your work is definitely an inspiration.

  I am really looking forward to see what you did there. However, I'd like to flag that the suggested conflict between playback speed and the use of compression is to a large extent illusory; for a while now we have technologies on ZX Spectrum, for which _average_ playback speed of uncompressed PSG stream is slower than the average playback speed of the compressed PSG stream.

• ZX Scene is not exactly spoiled by narrative-rich demos, so this definitely fills a void.
  
  Personally, I found it slow and a little boring, which is probably exactly the feel the authors were aiming at (e.g. think about the first ~1hr of "Alien"), so it is hard to complain about that. It is properly storyboarded, has a ton of decent (some great) graphics and is visualized using a very fresh-looking technology (Pete Cooke never developed his idea this far).
  
  Put simply, this is a top-flight demo that no-one expected and that breaks many expectations. It is frankly amazing to see something like this. Guys, thank you very much and I secretly hope pt.2 will do to this demo something similar to what "Aliens" did to "Alien".
