- demo Windows California Sunshine by Northern Dragons [web]
- Thanks for the good comments :)
@Keito: there's a connection indeed! When looking up for titles I actually searched for nicknames for LSD. When I saw "California Sunshine" in there I knew I had found the good one!
And so, yes, it's all deliberately fucked up ;)
About the final, it's half-done: I went overboard and I did break some stuff in the process so, don't wait too much for it. - isokadded on the 2016-02-17 22:04:25
- demo Windows Way by Vaahtera & Brainstorm [web]
- Mostly what others said..
Thumb for the vibe (music, color, pace).
Smoother interpolation and less crude clipping would make it much better (or at least more accessible), and fit more with the "handmade" style, cuz as-it-is, it feels mechanic a little.
@mkos: they say that as soon as it's out the door, you no longer have your say about what it means. that meanings can vary between persons, and they're all valid. well, they say it about art. So call yourself and artist and you'll be alright ;) - rulezadded on the 2016-01-11 19:16:27
- demo invitation Windows TMDC 18 Invitation by Northern Dragons [web] & Bawlz
- thx for the nice comments :)
@sol, trixter: glad you noticed, but the technical improvement is rather small. It's more about the content, that was selected to show it off better than previous years
@Saga Musix: sorry that you feel hurt. 64kbit was actually a stylistic decision, from before the demo was done. We talked of changing it, either to make it more obvious, or to make it clean - but (at least I) got used to it and totally forgot. - isokadded on the 2015-10-29 17:17:57

- 8k Windows Volumiscope by DMA [web]
- Awesome rendering!
Like others said, making it slower, culminating with the central blob, would have filled more time without being boring (toward the end it tends on dragging a bit).
Continue working on your synth, much more valuable to learn to write synth than to learn using klang IMO (your older stuff sounded great btw). Also, relating to GM.DLS, IIRC the samples don't all have the same base note, so you might have to retune by hand. - rulezadded on the 2015-09-16 00:34:12
- demo Windows Hold-and-Modify by Carillon & Cyberiad [web] & Fairlight [web]
- Rulez, generally. Tons of style, perfect rendering, awesome tune, as always.
But all along I was wondering.. why isn't this running on an actual Amiga?
And why the dude with the gun, really? it doesn't fit the theme or atmosphere. - rulezadded on the 2015-08-07 03:18:55
