- demo Windows Only Kings And Better by Fairlight [web] & The Silents [web]
- *agree with sesse & stefan*
this IS nice, never really been a fan of fairlight (read: the vodka series)
but then smash & co. started doing nice stuff, and now even pantaloon does :) hurraay.
nothing really new when it comes to the effects/scenes, but they look nice. furthermore a very solid/driven soundtrack by gemini, which unfortunatly wasn't really synched that great to the visuals (except the part with the falling ashes).
oh and please, we're not in the early 90s anymore, skip the sinscrollers :) - rulezadded on the 2002-07-02 06:02:01
- 64k Windows kurwa kube by Unique [web]
- i've come to expect a highquality standard from unique during the past months, and they've never made me disapointed.
overall great intro, nothing really fancy effectwise, but who cares aslong as the whole presentation is rocksolid and utilize both a nice soundtrack by jobe and a not to aggressive sync.
atleast thats my opinion :) - rulezadded on the 2002-07-02 05:54:37
- 64k Windows CHIPGOA by Deus Ex Machina [web]

- demo Windows afri-demo by afri-cola [web]
- funny how all fr members shows a defensive side when people let off some steam :)
before i've posted too many comments on this page, i'd like to point out that i have nothing against you guys making $ on creating ad-demos, i think thats a lovely idea, and if it sells why not have fun while making some cash, right?
i just think its silly some of you can't decide which side of the field this demo belongs to.
scene!=commercial, and if its an ad then its no more than a realtime animation, and if its only created to earn a few bucks then it's clearly not any teenage demonstration of coding/composing/modelling/etc-skills :)
am i making any sense here?
anyway, nice demo(?), cool music, perfect lenght, but where's the cola ? :) - isokadded on the 2002-06-28 15:40:01

- rp, you guys need to know where you stand. because you're statement makes me think you should've gone for politics instead.
either its a demo or an advertisment.
this is why you can't have both:
a demo (the whole demoscene in general) has an unwritten nonprofit anticommercial policy.
while an advertisment has the exact opposite policy.
go figure - isokadded on the 2002-06-28 10:10:59
