• The problem is, by the time the vocals arrive, the visuals have shown all the ideas they have, and the rest just repeats, and it never really acknowledges the music (very prominently at the ending); musically I like the 90s progrock tone, the guitar actually sits rather well in the mix this time, but the vocal doesn't, and the lyrics were clearly written by someone who didn't think about someone having to sing it later - words like "deflection" or "attrition" are hard enough to say without having to follow a rhythm or cadence.

• There's some dope stuff in there - that credits/endscene is bang on - but some of it (a lot of it) is just below-average content (oh god the 3D scenepoetry oh god) with Notch tech thrown at it, which just doesn't work.
  
  It's strange because you'd think a prod that's done by so many designers (supposedly) would have more eyecandy, but it's just not working - this is the kind of prod where unfortunately everything has to be bang on - font choices, amount of DOF, color progression, editing - and it's just... not there. It also feels like the music was just thrown at it last minute.
  
  It makes me a bit sad because it really is the style of prod we should _aspire_ to be making, which is why I feel so conflicted about it, but it's just _not there_.

• Above-average visuals sadly terribly marred by the audio - it's not just that the sound design is non-existent, but that the "music" doesn't help at all in telling the story, it doesn't aid the pacing, it doesn't convey emotion, nothing.
  
  Very sad, cos the potential was there.

  My favorite thing is that it's abstract, but it has that uncanny quality of things that we're used to - am I looking at a vinyl record? A building? Both? The confusion is essential to it.

• A _lot_ to like in this one, that first shot has the right amount of detail in all the right places, which is fantastic; the terrain doesn't quite follow it up and the music could've used a liiiiiiittle bit more polish (drums a bit too clicky) and finesse in the patch work, but what I come away with is a good feeling, and that's what matters.
