• some amazing chiptunes in here, hard to pick a favorite this time (not that it’s a competition), but I gotta single out Vim! This time for managing to squeeze a proper oldschool rave banner in such a small size
  
  on another note, I was a bit bummed to find out my tune was cut short almost in half due to some technical difficulties with the player code, but Slash & Skurk really came through on this one and a fixed final is forthcoming.
  
  Also, this is not the reason for the piggie, I just find it uncool to thumb up a prod in which I took part.

• That tune is a masterclass in tracking in itself. Seriously, if you have any interest in tracking go pore over this mod in detail, this is how it's done. The rest of the mag is pretty slick as well, love the retro neon-glowy aesthetic.
  
  One suggestion for the next issue is to include screenshots of the reviewed prods. Sometimes it was hard to remember whether I have seen the prod being reviewed from the name alone (but that might just be my senile oldfart brain at work)

• the first 4K in a looong time (probably since cdak) that made me want to see it in realtime on my machine.
  
  pretty disappointed that i couldn't get it to run :(
  compo version crashes (fair enough, probably cuts some corners to get the size under 4k, as long as it runs on the compomachine it's fine)...
  
  but the bigger version with the resolution selector just quits with "unknown compiler error" :(
  
  still a thumb because it's so awesome looking ... but keeping my fingers crossed for a bugfixed final.
