Works ONLY on a real NTSC VIC-20 with at least 32K expansion, NOT in VICE, since VICE does not emulate the interlace feature of the 6560 (yet?) - isokadded on the 2013-03-10 16:52:37

- Commodore 128 VDC Mode Mania by Akronyme Analogiker
- As noted in the readme/NFO: "Will *NOT* run on VICE (up to 2.3 at least, since these modes are not supported (yet) by VICE)"
I tried making a video, but those interlace-refresh rates completely screw up the video, making a YouTube-link impossible - at least for me. - isokadded on the 2012-09-03 21:58:59
- Commodore 128 VDC Mode Mania by Akronyme Analogiker
- A slideshow of several video-modes for the C128 with 64K VDC
- 640x480 interlace 8x2 color resolution
- 640x576 interlace 8x3 color resolution
- 480x252 non-interlace 8x1 color resolution
- 640x400 non-interlace 8x2 color resolution
- 720x700 interlace monochrome
- two text modes with larger used screen area
This little demo shows some rare graphic modes on the VDC with some
converted images. Very colorfur pictures in resolutions of 640x480 or
640x576 are possible as well as high resolution of up to 720x700 pixels.
Also two text modes are included which provide a larger used screen area.
Converters and sources are included. - isokadded on the 2012-09-02 19:38:05

- Uploaded a better usable .d71
This also includes some fixes suggested by Graham for monitor-compatibility. Please note this demo requires burst-mode, so a real 1571, 1581 or other burst-mode enabled device is needed. Also the VDC needs 64K of video-RAM. Some of the higher resolution and interlace-modes are not yet emulated by VICE so a real C128 is needed for those as well. Consider yourself lucky if you meet all the specs :-) - rulezadded on the 2012-07-29 23:48:52

- VIC 20 Retina Display by Akronyme Analogiker
- The interlace-feature is available on the NTSC-VIC-chip only, so no way having this work on PAL, sorry. However since graphics on the VIC-20 is always just re-defined characters, the standard maximum resolution is 160x192. This new mode is only possible by having the CPU sync to the raster beam and update the character-definitions dynamically just before being displayed.
