- forgot da thumb! Because while I can't condone a demo made with pain, the sync is awesome and an actual reflection as part of the creation process is always great.

- At first I was like "The 2000s are making a come back? Well, why not."
Very excellent sync, pace and energy, (and amount of content) even if the art is very uneven (looks somewhat dated on some scenes).
Then I read the NFO.
Well, first I'm sad to learn so much pain was involved in the creation of this. @Gargaj: I really hope this actually kicks your butt into having fun building a demo tool you enjoy using ― and making original/purposeful demos you'll enjoy spending time on.
As for the screen space reflection... This has been done time and again. Someone cited the Bolero, I could think of Disco Duck, and it rarely worked. Mostly because you can't do a crowd-pleaser without it pleasing the crowd!
As for the validity of doing the same thing over and over? I tend to divide 'creation' into 3 category: 'product', 'exploration' and 'self-expression'.
Exploration is what we demomakers do most. Toying with tech or ideas. Often it revolves around aping something else. This is a crucial step in the creation process, in order for one to own a craft. Some may take this for Art, but there's not much self-expression for it to be art.
Self-expression AKA Art, it's pretty rare actually. Culmination of tons of exploration, with an added purpose. Often hard to appreciate, generally ignored, but can sometimes start trends.
Products, must be profitable because they're made in hopes of bringing back revenues. Pop music, block busters, paintings sold in home/decor stores, etc. They try to displease the less amount of people possible, and then please some. Has to contain mostly very polished and familiar content. May include some new *but proven* stuff.
...proven new stuff? The product creators will look at the artists and explorers for that new twist. Like when we started hearing chiptune in pop music. Radio stations can't play straight up chiptunes to their audience, but a small layer in a Beck song is fresh and cool.
We need all of that. The self-expression and exploration, to inspire us. As well as the products, to give us a quality level to attain, and to reach out to newcomers. (who will in turn, ape a lot, and also make some gems)
*note: this is all a continuum, stuff can be hard to categorize, and it's perfect. Also, everything is a remix. Oh, and sorry for the long rant. - isokadded on the 2019-11-11 21:59:35

Also, I'Ve been able to run the demo on an Intel GPU, and it runs, albeit with some huge glitches. Maybe I'll debug it if I get some time in the upcoming years :) - isokadded on the 2017-12-01 16:14:11

- The black part is supposed to be an OpenCL-based ray-tracer. It was only tested on nvidia hardware. I'm gonna guess you're on AMD or Intel?

- For those having trouble reading the text: I forgot to put it in the NFO file or anywhere else but... for best results, please use the raster font, preferably the 8x8 one :)

- very good! a bit choppy at times, but might be my fault with 30 tabs runnign at the same time. Thought it lacked progression at first but then read the nfo.
