  @misioslaw since all the interesting parts of it (besides compression) are about generating x86 asm ppc would mean a complete rewrite... and the decompression routine has to be written in assembler too of course... so it would have ment twice the work... and nowadays most mac users have switched over to intel anyway
  @everyone else: thanks! the comments i got here and on irc show that it was the right step to release this as a public tool so others can start mac 4k coding more easily :)
