• mog: true, sorry but can't do anything about it - the incompatibility stems from the fact I used Nvidia's CG library in the demo that the only thing it has to offer to other vendors is a middle finger. It enforces certain limitations when used with other platforms which basically is a no-go for Suxx which expects more resources available.
  
  If we were to make the demo compatible with other video cards, it would require a major rewrite of the underlying engine which - frankly - would have been a fucking time-consuming thing to do. And I'd definitely prefer to spend time writing the new engine, instead of revisiting dead technology, especially given my rather puny amount of free time recently :)
  
  A silver lining here is that I've already ditched the old engine and am trying to work on a new one that does not have the goddamn dependency.

• I second uncle-x. Also, I personally find the demo irritatingly undeveloping - there's just not much to it apart from the tech which is - as always - inspiring.
  
  Oh, and the distance between smoke and the car is unnaturally large for my tastes :) but that's a minor issue I'd say.
