- I said it before and I'll say it again, this demo is AMAZING. If you focus on a terrain and treat it like it's a random "press a button and use a few easy as 1-2-3 tricks", well you then miss the point. First of all it is a DEMO, so it is real-time. It has artistic value in many ways; soundtrack, real-time, sequences, scenario, timing, animations. It has a lot going for it. A lot of it could have been a fail in experience value, and there I think the stats show that it's a win (so far). Point being, it is a good demo.
I remember back in the late 90s when demos started using MP3s and many were mad and called for cheating. Since then, it has been the norm. Who actually still play tracker files in a demo today? Remember back then when demos such as Toasted by Cubic & $een (1996) or Square by Pulse (1997) had short video sequences. It's all just artistic value.
Overall, the experience is positive. - isokadded on the 2015-04-02 05:41:35

- Come back often checking this demo out. I still think it's relevant and for a 64kb, sure can do a lot of noise!

- demo Windows fr-041: debris. by Farbrausch [web]
- When I want to show what the demoscene is capable of to a non scener, this is where I usually go. Then I mention which year it was released, that it's a realtime app, and the filesize. ;)
