- Nothing special here, I just wanted to see of my first PC (an 8086 8 Mhz) Was able to do sonthing cute using a VGA card, so I "ported" my GBC demo.
I could not record it from a real PC, so I used PCem. Sprite glitches should be present on real machine. Smooth should be 100% perfect on real machines. If someone can test it on a real 8086, tell me how it worked :). - isokadded on the 2020-11-29 20:45:15

- I always liked this demo, and I used to run it some time ago. But it is very difficult to make it work and it stopped working again :(.
I used the d3d dll and everything, but nothing happens, I suppose it loads up, but the little config menu is not showing for some reason, because "masagin.exe" is listed in windows running programs. - rulezadded on the 2018-06-08 13:37:40

As far as I konw, the cpu is a z80 with some functions missing, because it was made just for the game boy.

- Thanks, I Fixed homer's donut. It was transparent at some tiles (I just saw part of a bush going on top of the donut :O ).

- This was going to be an update of that second reality demo, But it became a new demo.
Again compiled with GBDK and the main code in C. But it uses assembly functions for a lot of things gbdk can't do with the stock ones.

- Thanks everybody. I'm making this a bit less ugly. Stiill in C but adding some asm code. i need to learn a wave effect moving SCX reg, and i will fake some effects to look better. Maybe i'll add a video at the end and a hicolor image. It will be just for game boy color .

- That's it JAC. At least someone LOL with this :). I wanted to make a 3D scene, or a 4 color video, do you think a video will be ok to show the 3D city?.

- You are right oerg866. But I have to say, nobody helped mi a lot when i told i was using c... They say it is too slow. I nearly got scanline effects, (moving SCX line by line), to work with no glitches just in C, i simply did not work enough on them.
This is just fun, by the way, to make some cool effects i would need a program called "gameboy image quantizer" also called "gameboy color tiler", It seems to have vanished from the internet :(. - isokadded on the 2014-04-28 01:04:15
