  I see no significant change in the player code, I suppose you somehow fixed it in the converter? I suppose you could've cut off the beginning for short samples and immidiately go straight into the loop - is that what you did?

• I've looked through the source now, and I have to say - the datastream format is quite brilliant. I never in a million years would've thought a scheme like the one used here would be comparable in size to the original pattern data without compression.
  
  I've tested with a few chiptunes having a lot of volume and period changes and while the converted pattern data was sligtly larger than the original it wasn't nearly as much of an increase as I would've expected.
  
  So this is the real achievement here - kudos!
  
  I've found a flaw with the player which might make some tunes sound wrong, though. Rather than trying to explain, here's a test mod which illustrates the problem:

• Massive! Gives me slight Hardwired vibes, which can only be a good thing. Probably because of the dark soundtrack and shadebobs. Lots of code porn along with some impressive visuals, definitely one for the pantheon of all-time best OCS demos. The fake-env mapping reflection stencil vectors were especially impressive.

  Thanks for the kind words, glad you enjoyed it. This one is all by me, though. I can see how the scrolltext might have been confusing, but the tune with Vedder which I wrote about is actually in this prod!

• Wow, very stylish, fresh and packed with dope content... The music really shines here, great to hear daytripper on a track again after professional tracker, but the visuals are also packed with a bunch of fresh well-executed ideas... Loved all the little retro references thrown about throughout... the scene with the monitors ofcourse the most standout among them :)
