- 4k Windows Parsec
- you gotta be kidding.. this could just as well be a 64k-intro. insane.
about the dll-stuff, d3dx as a dll will be included in the next redist if it isn't already, i see no problem with it. d3dx will be a .dll in all future versions, so feel free to use it. the same goes for gm.dls, it's a part of the system nowdays. if it helps you to do even better intros, why not use it? - rulezadded on the 2005-03-29 18:32:43
- demo Windows Pure 1D demo

- demo Windows meet the biots by Portal Process
- great stuff indeed, a cool idea and nice looking 3d. good music too, sounds a lot like black sun empire ;) the music volume seemed to be quite low though?

- demo Windows 195/95 by Plastic [web]
- crash on GF 6800 GT
(and i do prefer prods that makes use of modern GPU capabilities) - isokadded on the 2005-03-28 17:42:46
- demo Windows fr-045: life after by Farbrausch [web]
- once again, farbrausch releases a very different demo from what they usually do. at least a thumb up for trying to do new things.
i liked the calm feeling, but the 3d could have been better. like Stelthz said, the music fits, but it could have been just a little bit more..
(aliasing would be greatly reduced if i could run this and all other fr-prods in my tft's native res, 1280x1024 (which is 5:4) or 1280x960 for 4:3 =) ) - rulezadded on the 2005-03-28 13:49:25

- 64k invitation Windows Binary Flow - The Assembly'05 Invitation by Conspiracy [web]
- wow. beautiful.
loved the tunnels, or whatever the first one was ;) hard to classify..
for a little constructive critisism, the music had some weird chord change which didn't really "work", otherwise it was quite good. but i'd have to agree with ekoli - gargaj, add some improvements to your softsynth so that it doesn't sound so softsynthish =)
also, gargaj, were you involved in some of the syncing work? ;)
great work! - rulezadded on the 2005-03-27 21:48:16
- demo Windows dihydrogenmonoxide by Yaphan & Excess [web]
- a revival of old demo styles and effects =) like proteque said, at least some parts of it feels "amiga" somehow. nicely done.

- 4k Windows Stubble by Hardread [web]
- the__m: _samples_? SAMPLES? you think he's using samples in a 4k intro? ;) the sounds of "simple" softsynths will always sound the same when using standard waveform generators and filters, and in 4k there's not much to do about it, i guess..
i think the sound quality of the softsynth is above average in 4k's today, so good work gargaj =) perhaps some more work could be done on soundtracks in the future..
and yeah, nice 4k =) - rulezadded on the 2005-03-27 19:57:35
