- antdude: directx says it is D3DERR_OUTOFVIDEOMEMORY and it looks like it was returned from CreateVertexBuffer(). But I don't know the exact layout of the video memory, so I can't say why it is thrown.

- abductee: I forgot to call ZeroMemory() on the DEVMODE struct, so either it is that or the resolution (1280x720) that is the problem
antdude: According to the screenshot it is a 0x8876017c problem == Out of video memory
doc^21o6: Apparently D3DXCreateEffect failed and did not leave any message in the CompilationErrors buffer. I have no idea what it can be :-/

- binaries or not. I like the atmosphere and the visuals. Fits the music perfect. And commercial music .. well, sometimes an idea is growing up from just "that" particular song and you just need to let your creativity express itself.

- Ok, I have added some safe versions to the zip file and it would be very interesting to hear what the error messages says (send e-mail to happy-h at hack.se or drop a msg to Happy-H on efnet if you don't want to post it here).
And don't be so surprised if it don't work on budget cards because for example; the shitloadz of kubez version tries to create a 380 MB vertex buffer (among other things). So an error message with HR=0x8876017c means you ran out of video memory.
For all 64 bit users out there. Sorry, no support for that (my assembler knowledge doesn't include coding with 64-bit support).
Users with cards with no support for multiple render targets or shader version 2.0. Go and by a new one.
