- Tomaes, the point with submitting to Slashdot was more about if I could get something about C64 featured on Slashdot (especially on frontpage), a site that I visit daily since its inception (but never bothered to submit anything till this release), rather than purely using it to increase the popularity of this production. Sure, it helped to some degree (it was 2% already before submission to Slashdot), and sure, Slashdot lost its throne as the king of tech news sites, but it surely meant something for me, as I reached my initial aim; got on Slashdot frontpage. :-)

- Tapdancer, sure, go ahead! I would just like to ask you to include a bit of information that it was done by Crescent (as it is nowhere in the demo written so, due to size constraint). Very cool app you have got there! I wish you success with it. :-)
Hydrogen, apparently many things are still missing from this, you can expect some of them to be fulfilled with the next release. :-)
Thanks to everyone who took their time to give some feedback! It is really very much appreciated. - isokadded on the 2013-05-16 07:12:50

- Censor has "Design" in their name for a reason. Excellent.

- 32b Commodore 64 Thread Over
- 11 and 13 bytes versions of the original effect. Both versions has their own drawbacks; 13 bytes version expects X register to be $FF at startup (nevertheless, it worked on all emus I have tried), and 11 bytes version uses the data in memory for its output, instead of having a "random" input.

- Try to do something on C64 in 20 bytes and then you might appreciate why it is interesting enough.

- demo Commodore 64 Snapshot by Glance [web]
- @vscd: I do not see any high resolution and 50 FPS vectors or raycasters in EoD or in Tower Power. Also please notice that I said "for some effects". :-) I hope you get my point now. ;-)

- demo Commodore 64 Snapshot by Glance [web]
- The importance of this demo is that it sets new standards for some effect types in terms of speed and quality.
Until someone else manages to surpass it clearly, this is the demo to beat on C64. - isokadded on the 2010-04-06 17:41:23
