- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Deformations by Deform
- pretty early texture mapping in here, some nice code, but the ugly design kills the whole.

- game VIC 20 Doom
- angled walls & sprites in a raycaster is something I've only seen so far in Numen / Taquart on a800 in the 8 bit scene. so pretty cool in this regard. Also not unplayable :)
visually it's horrible though. Textures should've created in regard to the engine's capabilities, I mean smaller texture resolution would've helped a lot with the aliasing (disappearing vertical/horizontal texture features). So the player orients itself easyer. Also it tries very hard to emulate the doom palette with 4 colors which simply does not work. I'd have go for a high contrast 4 color gradient instead, gray / brownscale fex. - rulezadded on the 2013-12-16 11:38:06

- great tech, but I would have preffered it done in the nexus 7 way, which also works on psichovisuals and gains speed through that. or take a look at fruitkitchen.
I mean, okay, we have many colors and speed, but the tradeoff of big pixels is not appealing. Unamigaish. How about less bitplanes more pixels, nicely dithered?
Sorry for bitching :) - rulezadded on the 2013-12-13 11:04:31

- amiga demos mean for me the mid nineties, and this one feels just build on them while bringing me back. its been since a long time I felt this kind of amiga coolness.
